Hilton Orlando Bonnet Creek, a 1001 guestroom property, opened its doors to the public on October 1, 2009. This resort style hotel is set on 482 acres, surrounded by Disney on all sides and offers 12 on-site restaurants, an 18 hole Rees Jones designed championship golf course, the exclusive Spa by Guerlain, lazy river pools and many more other resort activities. One of our restaurants, Harvest Bistro, offers complimentary breakfast and dinner for children under 12 (with one paying adult, one child eats free) and also has a 24 hour grab and go for when you get hungry at any hour of the day or night!
We also feature 124,00 sq. ft. of flexible meeting space, include 2 pillar-free Ballrooms - the 36,000 sq. ft. Bonnet Creek Ballroom and the 27,000 sq. ft. Floridian Ballroom, both of which are divisible by 12, allowing us to set it for your group of any size! All pre-function space boasts floor to ceiling windows overlooking the golf course, allowing for an abundance of natural Florida sunlight to enter your space!

This hotel is what you expect from HIlton - everything is fancy. Clean room, comfortable bed, and an all around good experience. I gave it 3 stars for a few reasons: pay-for wifi, hotel shuttle to Disney is not consistent and on time, and there is no normal food. Well, the only normal food consists of pastries and sandwiches in the coffee shop.
The pool is nice, and the pictures online make it look bigger (HUGE even). Just note that you MUST bring your own tube or flotation device for the lazy river. You can buy the tube on site at their shop - I do not know how much they charge. I borrowed an abandoned tube and then left it for the next guest so they wouldn't have to buy none. If you stay at a hotel this expensive, wouldn't you expect complimentary tubes? They cost $1 at the dollar store....
I recommend this hotel to the normal Hilton travelers and anyone that wants an excellent experience. « less

This was a great hotel to stay at for our Disney vacation. We went as a couple and wanted to be near Disney, but not within the madness. Hilton Bonnet Creek was a great option for that. The location was nearby, but off the beaten path, it was about 10 minutes or so from Epcot, Magic Kingdom and Downtown Disney. About 30 minutes away from Sea World and Universal Studios.
The hotel was very clean and the rooms were comfortable. Pillows could have been a little more firm, but we just used multiple and it was fine. We upgraded to the Disney view, no clue if you could see the fireworks at night since we were never in the room at that time, but the view was nice. We had a great lookout over the pool and could easily see how the weather was. If you don't spend a lot of time in the hotel, not sure that it's worth the money to upgrade to Disney view. Be aware that there are very long hallways and you may have to walk a ways to your room. The elevators are super fast though, which is awesome, very little waiting for elevators at any point.
The pool was great, it had a nice long lazy river and wasn't flooded with kids. There was nice activity though, fun for kids if they are there, and a little baby pool too, which was great. Also a cabana area with a bar and tables for eating/ordering from the restaurant.
The hotel had a coffee shop which sold coffee, treats, small breakfast items, ice cream, sandwiches, etc. It was a "grab and go" kind of place. There are also three other restuarants in the Hilton and more in the connected hotel (which is a little more upscale).
Beware that this is a large hotel with a convention area, so there may be something going on, but it doesn't really inhibit your vacation. The hotel had a nice little bar/lounge area in the lobby, a huge lobby with concierge and lots of seating (indoor and outdoor). There is also a Disney shop inside the hotel for souveniers and other hotel necessities.
The hotel shuttle was excellent!! It was very dependable and we took it everywhere. It also ran late. We discovered that you could take the shuttle to it's "Magic Kingdom" stop (which is actually the Disney transportation and ticket center) and then use the monorail to get to some Disney resorts as well as Magic Kingdom and Epcot, which gave you more time at Epcot if you wanted it, rather than using the Epcot stop for the shuttle. They played movies on the shuttle for the little ones, but even the adults loved it. It was an awesome service to have.
There is a parking fee if you drive to this hotel. If you're only doing Disney, you really don't need to rent a car, but if you're visiting other areas (including Sea World and Universal) you would need a car.
There is also a golf course on site and a spa.
Overall, I would highly recommend this hotel. We had nothing negative to say about it and would very likely stay here in the future. « less

First of all, let me start by saying that upon entering this resort, I was blown away. Not only is it gorgeous, but the staff is courteous and really friendly. We were early for check-in and allowed to put our luggage in the bell-hop station and use the pool, while waiting for our room...which they made available early for us. However, maybe there was a reason this particular room was ready early. More on that in a bit!
As for the pool, I couldn't have imagined anything better! It was just my husband and I staying this time, but we will be bringing our kids if we go back. It was perfect for a romantic getaway, but also incredibly kid friendly with a lazy river, multiple pools, a kiddy pool, and a hot tub. We ate at Beech, the poolside restaurant. The service was excellent, and the food was decent. Overpriced for what we got, but that's what we expected at a resort! I can say that the pina colada made it all OK, though ;)
We had dinner at the sushi bar and lounge, which was phenomenal, and actually reasonably priced for resort sushi! I had to specifically request a vegetarian roll though, since nothing on the menu was strictly vegetarian. In fact, I was a bit put off by the lack of vegetarian dishes at all of the restaurants on site, considering how big of a name Hilton is.
Now onto my only real issue with this resort...the room. While it was gorgeous, it had some serious issues. First, the shower leaked like crazy. This should have been obvious to whoever cleaned or inspected it last, because the entire seal strip was hanging off the door. And when I say it leaked, I mean it flooded the entire bathroom. Now as annoying as this was, we could have lived with it. Until my husband went to turn the TV and it literally fell off the base and into his hand. We called the front desk and I felt like maybe they didn't understand the urgency of the situation (we literally traded off holding this giant flat screen TV in our hands, because it was still partially connected to the base and we couldn't lay it down), because it was a good 15 minutes before someone got there. Since we were getting ready to leave when this all happened, he told us he'd take care of it and the shower before we got back that night. When we came back, the TV was fixed and the shower appeared to be, however after showering we realized this was not the case. Oh well! Also, the toilet ran on and off the entire night.
The other issue we had was with breakfast the next morning. Maybe we weren't informed and were supposed to make a reservation, but it took an hour to get seated (even though they said it would be a 20 minute wait). It was a zoo. We had people cutting in front of us, literally shoving around like crazy people. If we were there with our starving kids, it would have been a bigger issue, but luckily we were able to laugh it off and drink the juice that at least they provide in the waiting area. But I can tell you right now, if we went back with our kids and someone pulled the same stuff with us, there would be a problem. And not even an apology for the wait. The hostesses at the Harvest Bistro were the only staff at the hotel that I wasn't impressed with. The food, however, was excellent! Made to order omelets, etc. Lots of healthy options, not just breads and grease.
I think the thing that bothers me the most about this, is that you don't expect something like this from a resort of this caliber...from a no-name hotel or something, maybe. But this is a 4 1/2 star resort. And even when I mentioned it at checkout again the lady at reception (who, let me reiterate, was so sweet about it), said she would talk to her manager, but I haven't heard from a manager about it. After paying over $250 in resort fees, parking fees, and food charges for a 1 night stay for 2 people (and that's not including the actual hotel cost), I would have expected more of an apology for something like that!
I'm still giving this a 4 star review, because I would stay there again, and I would recommend it to friends. Like I said before, the resort is wonderful and the staff is amazing. I would just stand my ground this time and request a different room if I had any of the same issues! Oh, and I'd make a reservation for breakfast, if I could ;) « less

This hotel is fabulous! The location is right in the middle of Disney property but seems tranquil and removed from the hustle and bustle of the parks. Great comfy beds, 5 star Italian restaurant, breakfast buffet, delicious pastries and a pool with lazy river that rivals the water parks. The service was also top notch! From the fast and friendly valets to our cheerful housekeeper all the way up to Night Front Desk Manager Patricia (who was so helpful with a medical emergency and last minute change of plans- thank you so much!) everyone was so pleasant, helpful and professional that this is our new hotel for our annual trips to visit the mouse. « less

This is a great HIlton property. Great staff, amenities and location. The pool complex is one of the best that I have been to in the Orlando area. The lazy river can consume hours of time and never gets old. When out at the pool, ask for the Beech Bar manager, Rachel. She does a great job and always makes me feel welcome. When I go to Orlando, I stay at the Hilton Bonnet Creek. « less
