The rooms were clean and it was a good quiet location to spend the night while visiting the area. The other nice feature was the water for showers was nice and hot. The continental breakfast was the same as other hotels in this price range. A cup of coffee and something to get you started before you are ready for a larger breakfast. On a return trip to Ithaca we would stay here again. « less

We are travelling around America for a month and picked this motel from the safety of the sitting room at home in England in January. Big big mistake. We paid 120 great british pounds for one night bed and breakfast and I would not recommend anyone else to try it. When we got to reception the floor was filthy, the paint work was filthy, the reception area looked like it was slowly falling apart with cupboard doors hanging off everywhere. We got the key to our room, it was grey dull and decidedly unkempt. Although the bed and the linen was clean and comfortable, you were provided with one bottom sheet, one top sheet and one very very thin blanket. Breakfast the next morning was a serve yourself buffet, but to be honest if we had known we would have definitely eaten elsewhere. The whole place needs a good clean and an attack with any sort of paintbrush would help a little. In our opinion it was horrendously overpriced for the service and quality of room that was offered. « less

My daughter & I stayed at the Rodeway Inn in Ithaca on 1/2/2013 to 1/4/2013. About 5 days before our trip, I called the Rodeway to reserve a room with 2 double beds, a refrigerator and microwave. When we arrived on January 2nd, we discovered that our room had been upgraded to a suite, at no additional charge. This upgrade meant that we had a seating area, with a couch and chair, and a dining area with a kitchen table and chairs. The room was clean when we arrived, and the staff kept it that way during our stay. Fresh soft towels were provided each afternoon. The beds were VERY comfortable and we both slept well all 3 nights. I chose this hotel because of the location, it's a little bit outside of town. We, as 2 women traveling by ourselves, could feel safe here. The staff were very kind and efficient. My only criticism is that the room was a bit cool and the heater was a bit noisy, but not so much that it kept us up at night. « less
