My husband and I stayed here last night. This morning we found a syringe cap with "white powdery substance" in it as well as a broken crack pipe under the air conditioner! When I called the front desk, they sent a "manager" up to handle it. When he came to the door, he was dressed in grungy clothes. When I showed him what we found he responded by saying we should have said something when we checked in. He also had an accusatory look on his face like it was ours! Only after I explained to him that I am an EMT and have worked in the area for the last 10 yrs on a 911 ambulance did his tone change, When we checked out I mentioned something to the guy at the front desk and he offered us a GIFT CARD for our next stay! I laughed in his face and told him that I dont need a gift card because I am never staying here again. I do not appreciate finding drugs in my hotel room and that if for whatever reason the police would have shown up during our stay and found that in our room I would have lost my certifications! They were totally unprofessional and made it seem like we "planted" it so we could get something out of it. I will never stay there again and I am also informing all of my friends both civilian and law enforcement about this place. Do Not patronize them unless you want to get caught with drugs if and when the police raid the place or unless you are a drug addict looking for some free drug paraphernalia. « less

This hotel does not provide any sort of "Quality" and there is nothing "Sweet" about it. Yes, there was someone else's hair on supposedly clean sheets, the furniture, appliances, carpets and walls were deplorable, beds uncomfortable, and the bathroom was not entirely clean either. Also, only a few outlets and lights were functioning. In fact, the exterior of the building looked a lot nicer than the rooms hidden away inside. When we were there, there was hardly ANY staff around, including the front desk. After traveling about 9hrs by car from Maine to attend a wedding, we just wanted some rest and stayed one night. But the final blow came the next morning when we learned that the continental breakfast consisted of broken appliances. We quickly packed up, checked out and went across the street to Courtyard by Marriott. What a difference. Travelers beware, Quality Inn & Suites Bensalem does not care, they just want your $$$. « less

Stayed here for 2 nights back in December. Hotel could use an update, a little tired. The staff were very friendly but that doesnt make up for the room. Beds are in need of being replaced, not a good night sleep for others in my party but I can sleep on a rock if need be. Room was clean but carpets need replaced. Breakfast was included and it was the basis Choice Hotels breakfast. The items that were served will get you off to a good start and there are many choices. Parking was ample and there are a good amount of nearby restaurants. I stay here because the price is right as far as im concerned. « less

We stayed here on our weekend trip to Sesame Place. There were no "show-stoppers". Everything worked, the service was fine, there were clean sheets and plentiful hot water. There was no single complaint, but there was just a sense of dinginess, like good enough is good enough. Like the missing grate in the ice machine, the folded up magazines to keep the entertainment center from rocking, dingy, stained rugs, and the musty smell. It's like time has passed this Hotel by and it is just trying to keep up. I can't point to one single reason you shouldn't stay here, but my overall feeling is that you can certainly do better. « less
