My daughter and I just returned from a 2 night stay at this hotel. We felt safe. The staff is SO nice and accomodating. The room was spacious and clean! The entire building was clean and welcoming. Easy 10 minute drive to the casino/boardwalk area in AC. Lots of "things" up & down Route 30. "Five Guys" right across the street, a nice diner down the road on opposite side of road, also a Dunkin Donuts, Arby's, McDonald's, BK etc... There is a free continental breakfast (bagels, muffins, cereal etc but also a pancake maker, eggs & sausage)... Complimentary coffee 24 hours, as well as a workout room, beautiful atrium pool & hot tub area, plenty of vending machines, and free WiFi (which was easy to access & speed was great)... We brought a white noise sound machine and ran our heat during the night, so the train & airplane noise that others have complained about did not bother us. Yes, you do have to pass the hotel on way back from AC to use the u-turn to go back, BUT it wasn't even a mile - we clocked it... I also want to mention, we noticed many of the other hotels on Route 30 (White Horse Pike) had entrances to their rooms directly from the parking lot.. The Holiday Inn requires a key to get into the building from the parking lot, and then the room doors are on the INSIDE of the hotel, not on a balcony.. I liked that being alone with my daughter on a main road like this.. And finally, there were no surprise charges when we checked in... Our rate was exactly what we were quoted on-line using "Best Available Rate".... « less

This was a very nice Holiday Inn Express. The room was very quiet and the bedding and linens were new and very comfortable. Most importantly though the hotel and the room did not smell like floral cleaning products. As someone who is senstive to scented cleaning products this is extremely important to me. This hotel simply was clean. :) Extremely night gentleman at checkin after midnight. Overall a very pleasant experience. « less

This hotel is very nice for its class-clean and comfortable. Overall, the staff is friendly and helpful. As a Priority Club member, they offered me a room upgrade which was a nice surprise. The free breakfast did the job-nothing fancy but the automatic pancake maker was pretty cool! The location to downtown Atlantic City was perfect-just 10 minutes away with less than half the cost of the hotels on the boardwalk. « less

Our stay at Holiday Inn Express from 11/16/12 to 1/11/13 was not by choice. We are "victims" of superstorm Sandy. We were directed to this hotel by FEMA. Not being too happy about losing the first floor of our home, we were extremly pleased with our stay here. The staff did everything possible to accommodate our needs. The front desk, John and Ray (forgive me but I forgot the name of the girl with the beautiful smile) were just great. Always available if needed and most helpful. Kindra was a delight, always smiling and helping out whenever she could. Louis, the hotel "chef" LOL, saw to everyones needs at breakfast and always with a smile. It's free with your stay and has just about every item you need to start your day, yogurt, fruit, eggs, bagels and muffins and assorted pastries. Our room #202, was immaculate and our housekeeper was on the spot to take care of our needs. Beds were very comfortable and the bath was well equiped with clean towels and toiletries. Never heard any noises to disturb our sleep. Wifi in our room which was well needed for all our communicating with various contractors, etc. There is a gym, large indoor pool and jacuzzi which unfortunately we did not use (and I regret) as we left the hotel each day to visit our home to monitor the work being done. There were a lot of Sandy victims there during our stay and each day we met up with some of them to discuss our "problems" with this storm. I can honestly say we all were very satisfied with this hotel and the way we were treated. My husband and I are well traveled and have stayed at some of the finest hotels but I have to commend this hotel and it's staff for being one of the best I have ever stayed in. THANK YOU ALL for your generous hospitality during this most unfortunate time for us. I would not hesitate to return for another visit someday! « less

On a busy highway and the train does rumble through and you can hear it.
We are priority club members gold members and we received a call 15 minutes after the posted check out time and asked if we had a problem. Never never has my husband encounterd anything like this from HInn staff and he does most of the traveling. When i travel with him i have never encountered it. That was the only downside, staff should look at the profiles of guests before making calls. « less
