Built in 2008 with opening date being December 19, 2008. We have double queen, king, double queen suites and king suites. All have refrigerators and microwaves. We have an indoor pool, hot tub and fitness facility. We are located 1 mile off Interstate 57. We have a 770 sq ft meeting room that sits 80 quite comfortably.

Check-in was prompt and the guest receptionist was polite and informative. The room was clean, air-conditioner worked well and there was good shower pressure. The mattress was comfortable and the sheets were fitted! There was an extra lightweight blanket in the closet which was nice as the standard hotel comforters are much too warm and heavy for use outside of Alaska. There were plenty of choices for breakfast and the two women working the breakfast area were outstanding. Especially when I overfilled my waffle cup with too much batter and made a mess. I'm sorry I didn't catch her name, but a super employee cleaned up immediately after my mistake. She was gracious and should be employee of the month! There was a large grassy area behind the hotel for walking dogs and waste pick-up bags were available on one side of the hotel. This isn't a 5 star hotel, but the best we've stayed at in this price range in quite awhile. Would definitely stay again. « less

The reviews for this hotel are correct, this was a great hotel, looks brand new, very clean, helpful front desk when we checked in, wish I could remember his name. We would definitely stay here again. Also, if you're a Harley Davidson fan, the Black Diamond HD dealer is right next door, a big plus for my husband. « less

I rarely give scores as high as this one. We were very pleasantly surprised by the facility, and were especially impressed with the staff. The lady who checked us in was exceptionally helpful and thoughtful. When we asked for directions to a restaurant, she wrote them out clearly instead of giving the usual vague directions, that always seem to assume that you know the area. The lady who handles the breakfast was efficient, friendly, and helpful.
The place is very quiet. We were right next to the elevator, but never heard it. The door locks were also quiet upon closing, which I find rarely in hotels in this country. We will be back.
We found a coupon in the "Central and Southern Illinois Coupon Guide" that is distributed at the IL welcome centers, and got a very nice room for $75, including breakfast. « less

I stayed here for business this past November and enjoyed my stay. The front desk was helpful and proved useful for food and direction requests. The hotel was easy to get to from the Interstate and was close to an assortment of restaurants. Checked out a BBQ place two blocks away and was very happy with the food and drink.
The room itself was clean and spacious. The tv was a. Flat screen, no hd though. Bathroom was clean and had good hygiene products to use. Bed and pillows were standard. Slept well. « less

Traveling from Houston to Chicago and got tired so decided to try this hotel. I thought it was a little pricey at first but by the time I checked out I realized it was all worth it. The bed was so comfortable, the room was beautiful, and even though there were a lot of children around when I checked in, I didn't hear a thing. The next morning I went to get breakfast, and was very pleased with the hot breakfast . They are also pet friendly. My little Max had a great time also. « less
