We didn't arrive until wee hours in the morning on our way to florida. We were only there three to four hours. In the morning I went to the bathroom to find black spots on the ceiling in the bathroom. I took pictures on my phone and showed the lady at front desk. She said she would tell the manager who was expected to be there in a few minutes. When "the manager" arrived he did not ask to see the photos or approach us at all. We called choice hotels and reported what we believed and concerned to be black mold. The owner called my husband and cursed him out. Telling him to go to h*ll. Very disgraceful for choice hotels. Not their normal standards. « less

One night stay. Hotel was clean and well kept from what I could see. Expected it a little rougher as it seems the outside-room hotels tend to be a little more roughed up and older on average.
For whatever reason I got a handicapped room. This means the bed is two feet off the ground and the bathroom has plenty of turning room and safety handles on the wall.
Room was clean, plain, with minimal decorations. Office chair rollers were not working properly so the chair was hard to move around. That was about my only complaint.
Breakfast was the standard fare and was good. However the breakfast area was small and cramped.

We needed a hotel to stay in for the race at Talladega but didn't want to fork out much more than we had to. This popped up and we booked it. Didn't read the reviews as I didn't have much time until we had to leave. When we got here it was very nice. The lady at the desk was helpful and answered all the questions we had. THIS IS a pet friendly hotel and the lady had a very nice dog there at the desk with her and he was VERY friendly. It was fun playing with him and he made it feel like home. The rooms were great and the air worked great. Beds were nice and soft and the bedding was nice and thick. There was a ceiling fan in our rooms and that was a great surprise. Had a nice tv. It was an all around nice place. « less
