I was very impressed with this hotel on our weekend visit to Barcelona. The room was huge and modern with a good quality bathroom. The staff could not do enough for us and were particularly helpful when giving instructions how to print tickets from a booking made on our iphone. There was a good choice at breakfast and the waiting staff were pleasant and helpful. The location is central for visiting all the main attractions in Barcelona. There is some traffic noise in the room but it didn't stop me sleeping in the very comfortable bed! « less

We stayed at Hotel Jazz in September 2012 and again May 2013, and it is a very comfortable environment, especially for an American traveler who is used to larger rooms and beds. The staff was very friendly and helpful from check-in to answering questions about the area to our checking out. Both times we stayed two nights, and even though our room overlooked the Ramblas Street, it was not noisy at all due to being at the far end of that street. The location is perfect for nearness to the Placa Catalunya and the transportation options there, as well as a Metro stop. The only downside is the lighting in the bathroom for ladies trying to apply makeup, but not a deal breaker by any means. Great value for the Euro. « less

As I entered the lobby I was greeted by my name. Was very impressed but only for a short while as I was the only Chinese staying for the night. Nevertheless I was impressed that he went through the guest list prior to guests check in. I arrived at 10.30am. In 1 hour my room was ready. Impressed again. He also offered me a map. Nice. The only set back no tea making facility in room. Luckily I brought a kettle along. « less

Testimonials: Why use Hotel Planner?
"It was easy and the contact people were helpful and friendly - I would recommend the service to others." J.H. - Rochester, NY
"When people provide customer friendly service in today’s world, it should be applauded! So many businesses have taken almost and adversarial attitude towards the customer, in other words, they over compensate for a consumer not following through. As a business, it is my understanding, that the business should always follow through and do as they promise! Loyalty between consumers and businesses should remain alive, profit above service is a bad plan and will cost the business in the long run!" R.F. - Denver, CO
