I booked this hotel after reading reviews on Tripadviser, thanks excellent choice at the best location in Hollywood at reasonable prices. Just behind Dolby theater less then 5min walk from the corridor below Highland & Hollywood Mall, and you are in middle of all action on walk of fame, all tours start from there, very well connected by bus and metro rail system. Room - Very comfortable bed, large room, TV with all important channels, full kitchen with microwave, refrigerator, gas stove, dining table, washroom very clean and with good supply of clean and soft towels - overall no complaints at all. Breakfast - Standard Limited Continental - Juice, Coffee/Tea, Beagle with various spreads, cereals and couple of fruit choices, good way to fillup and start the day. No hot options though. Lady who takes care of breakfast is very helping and has a nice smile always which makes it better. Hotel has a heated pool (not very big) which I could not use. Reception team was helpful and even helped arrange the taxi to airport through there usual channel which was $20less then meter cab, last and very nice touch was to allow me to retain room till 2pm without any extra charge. This is small hotel, but has everything u need for a comfortable stay. Do not expect a 5star kind of luxury though as u r not paying same :) « less

Orchid is one of the best option (in term of price & value) to stay in LA in Hollywood Blvd Zone. Great location, near Dolby Theatre and the walk of fame. The hotel staff is warm and friendly. The Orchid Include free wifi, a generous continental breakfast. and indoor parking. (3 facilities not so common in Los angeles). The rooms are large and spacious. (some include a complete kitchen). I recommend it and would return. « less

Free continental breakfast every morning to start our day. We loved the croissants, the nutty chocolate muffin, apples, fruit juices, and the mexican lady who pampered us. The front desk people were very friendly and helpful.
And the location can't be beat--just a few minutes walk to the most touristy part of Hollywood--the Chinese theater/Dolby Theater/the walk of fame area which is the starting point of most LA tours. « less
