Great new and clean hotel, only 5 min drive to Dessert Hill Outlet.
They serve a great complementary breakfast in the morning, with egg, sausage, pancakes, yogurt, cereal, etc. I stayed for 2 nights and items were slightly different both days.

First and foremost, I was very pleased upon checking in process . The front desk guy name Maurice was so friendly and helpful. Very very pleasant. We got the room on the first floor, which i find it really convenient. Oh ya , not forgetting this other lady at the receptionist whom i encounter while Maurice was not around . She was very unprofessional when i had some questions on how to go about going to the dessert hills outlet. The reason i chose this hotel was due to the reviews that i read .I was travelling with an infant, so cleanliness and safety were my top priority. The room was very clean, with comfortable beds with clean bed sheet. The room size was pretty big, the toilet was clean and the furniture and appliances in the room was pretty well maintained.The negative points that I encounter during my stay here is that my room does not come with a microwave and the air-con was set on temperature basis.Once the temperature hits, the air-con will go on pause mode, which can be quite stuffy at times. My room was located right beside the gym but there was no noise so it was fine for me. The coffee and tea was always available in the room or dining place near the reception. We wanted to rent a car at enterprise rental which was 5 mins away from the hotel. But was closed on Saturday and Sunday. I must emphasis that renting a car is the best way to get around in Banning, the buses have certain timings and cabs are on phone call basis. It so hard to find a cab that you can hail on the road. A pretty quiet town i must say.There is also a convenience store is front of the hotel . We have to take a cab every time we decide to go the the Desert Hills Outlet which is around 10-15 mins drive from the hotel, approximately around 15-20 USD. I would definitely reconsider to stay here again provided that i have my own transport. « less

This is the second time that we have stayed at this motel. The hotel is very nice and everything is clean and up to HIE standards. But, this is the only HIF motel that I have stayed at that does not have a fridge in the room. I like starting my day with cold water, so this is a negative for me. Also, it would be nice to have some fresh fruit available at breakfast. If you are going to go to Palm Springs and want to save some money, this is a good place to stay. « less
