Thank you for taking the time to provide feedback on your recent stay at Fire Mountain Lodge. The location of Fire Mountain Lodge is great whether a guest is looking to take a quick walk to either the heart of downtown, or our many hiking trails that are in and around Canmore. Our condo/townhouse style suites provide many of the luxuries from home whilst in the setting of the majestic mountains. Guests have a true home away from home feeling. With our fully equipped kitchens allow the guest to have the option of relaxing in the unit cooking a nice meal, perhaps making use of the BBQ’s that are provided on the balconies or enjoying some of the many amazing restaurants located just minutes away! The views from our balconies are second to none, especially in our larger premium units which are perfect for families or friends gathering for a nice break in the mountains. These balconies are great to bask in the afternoon sun after enjoying an afternoon exploring the Bow Valley. At Fire Mountain we do not provide daily housekeeping, however, if requested we are always more than happy to provide this service. Thank you again for sharing your experiences with the Trip Advisor community. We look forward to hosting you once again, don’t forget to ask about our exclusive repeat guest rates!

This place was an awesome spot to stay. The three bedroom townhouse we rented was clean and nicely furnished. The kitchen was fully supplied with everything you might need. The master bedroom was awesome mountain views. It was pretty strange for the upstairs bathroom fan to be controlled by a downstairs light switch though. This was pretty frustrating and hard to figure out.
The only downside was the office on-site wasn't open, so we had to go try and track down the office location a block over. There's also a bit of construction next door. We were on an end-unit, so it was nice for the extra windows, but it's a bit messy when you look out. « less

Dear Kimberly S,
I am glad to see that you enjoyed staying our three bedroom premium suites, which guarantee a premium view of the mountains. Our full kitchens are a guest favorite as it provides guests the option to cook in or go out while on vacation. Fire Mountain Lodge is operated through The Lodges at Canmore front desk which is operated twenty four hours a day, seven days a week. Should guests need assistance during their stay we are a phone call away and our friendly staff is always happy to help. I would love to welcome you and your animal family back to Fire Mountain Lodge in the future.

Stayed here for a weekend with another couple and our dogs. Great place for families, friends or anybody who plans a longer stay in Canmore.
We had a two bedroom place and it suited our needs perfectly. Each bedroom has an ensuite (perfect for two couples) and there is even a bathroom on the first floor. The beds were comfortable and there were even bathrobes for you.
The bathrooms are a little cramped, but we made it work.
I didn't realize this before, but the sheets/towels are only changed once you check out (they do not change it every day). If you want fresh towels/sheets every day, you will pay a surcharge. Kitchen was great - microwave, stovetop oven, fridge and dishwasher (that didn't wash things very well we found - might want to rinse before using!) They say it's "fully stocked" but it was lacking in a few things ex. Spatulas, only 4 plates etc. so if you plan on making bigger meals, you may want to bring a few of your own things.
There is washer/dryer too, which is super convenient!
Free wifi is available and pretty good.
Overall, really happy we stayed here and would definitely come back! « less

Overall a great experience. A group of 6 (3 couples) shared a 3 bedroom condo here for 4 nights. The condo was clean, (but a little tired..paint chips on the walls, shakey toilet, frayed carpet)..but nothing major. The condo was a touch smaller than anticipated, but overall we never felt crampt. The location was awesome, the views from the king sized bed-room and patio were amazing, the queen and double bed rooms were tight!! Room for the beds, a night stand, and that was about it. No other furniture in the room. Again not a big deal as we only slept there. The king room had a nice ensuite and the other two bedrooms shared a bathroom which was no problem. The kitchen was stocked pretty cooked with just about everything you needed to make your own meals, dishes, utensils, pots, glasses, mugs, coffe maker, microwave, fullsizd fridge, stove, etc.
The hottub was also a nicwe hot temp.
The only major drawbacks was there was the 'service' as there is no staff or front desk on site. I also tried calling the property a few times before we arrived on a few different days ...nobody answered and their 'voice mail' was full..?? Check in and check out was at another property, and would have been nice to have someone there to refer a cab company, or direct us to good places for dinner. Also towels were a little chintzy in quality and number (for 6 people for 4 days). Also, like other reviews the parking is tight!!! We had a midsize and found it very cramped, if you havce a large suv..good luck!
Overall I would certainly recommend this place. It was quiet, and smaller, with great views.A lot of the other condos views in the area would be blocked by other condos, so overall this was a good property! « less

Dear tragicallyhip,
Thank you for choosing to stay at the Fire Mountain Lodge and taking the time to write a review. The views of Canmore are certainly breath-taking and I’m glad that you and your friends were able to enjoy it from the patio. It sounds like you had the chance to enjoy all of our amenities as well as our facilities and as we pride ourselves on providing a warm, relaxing environment for a getaway such as yours, it’s always great to hear guest feedback that reflects that.
I do apologize for not being able to reach our front desk staff at The Lodges to get the service that you were needing. We are addressing the voicemail issue and we will be revisiting the transfer button to change it to the appropriate location. I hope that you were able to enjoy the sights of Canmore and had the chance to enjoy the great restaurants Canmore had to offer.
I hope that you have the chance to revisit Canmore in the near future and if you do, please let us know that you are a return guest and we will be more than happy to provide you with a repeat guest’s rate on most dates. Thank you again and I hope to welcome you back to Fire Mountain Lodge or any of our Bellstar properties sometime in the near future.
Yours in hospitality,
Tanya Yurko General Manager

Really enjoyed our stay in the 2 bedroom condo and would go back. Our unit was clean and very functional for a group of 6 (three bathrooms are awesome). BBQ was a big plus. Be ready to for a tight squeeze into the parking spaces, especially for a larger vehicle (some tenants are not so considerate with leaving room for others). Wifi signal was a little weak in our unit. If you want a better view, ask for the upper units. Close enough to downtown shopping and bars. « less
