The Rosewood Inn of the Anasazi, celebrates the enduring creative spirit of the region's early Native Americans. Located in the heart of Santa Fe's plaza, the 57-room Inn is an elegant microcosm of Southwestern style with massive hand-carved doors, sculptured stairways and sandstone walls that whisper of prehistoric Pueblo living. Not only was the hotel built in true tradition but the hotel was blessed by an Anasazi medicine man and buried beneath the buildings and within the walls and ceilings are crystals thought to have magical powers. The ground the hotel sits on is historic and contains many artifacts, and ruins of ancient times.
The Rosewood Inn of the Anasazi Library is a well-appointed, comfortable and elegant space for guests wishing to conduct business or special events in a non-traditional meeting environment. Attendees feel relaxed, yet focused, with a wood burning kiva fireplace, beautiful hardwood floors, and natural sunlight. At 950 square feet the Library can accommodate meetings and events for up to 60 guests. To complete the perfect meeting or presentation the Hotel offers on site audio/visual equipment rental for a nominal fee.
Rosewood Inn of the Anasazi is pleased to offer dining in the award-winning Anasazi Restaurant. The Anasazi Restaurant offers contemporary American cuisine prepared with an innovative approach; focusing on fresh, regional and seasonal ingredients. Guests also enjoy our full premium bar offering a sophisticated wine list or our famous Gold Coin Margaritas.

This was our second stay at the Inn and we frequently stay at Rosewood properties. This is our favorite stop in one of our favorite cities. The hotel is beautifully designed, very adobe. Couldn't be better located, around the corner from the Governor's Palace. Rooms are lovely, fittings/bedding great, service excellent. Very good bar and restaurant. Super breakfast. We had four dinners, three were very good, one just okay. Handsome dining room, fine service. It's a small property, so there are a few drawbacks. The views out the the sides (most of the views) aren't great. There are no big hotel amenities like a pool or a fitness room. Didn't use the spa. If those things don't matter, stay here. « less

This is a small jewel in downtown Santa Fe. From the cowboy bell men to the Native-American decor the place is designed to appeal to the discriminating tourist. The staff knows your name and are helpful and willing to put themselves out to assist. The rooms (we were in 225) are determinedly Southwest which sometimes sacrifices utility for style. For instance, the TV stand/minibar/coffee bar is difficult, with the doors not opening all the way back, presenting a possible hazard while using the bar.
Our bed was comfortable but sits a good three free from the floor. Seniors or short people will find it a mountain to climb in.
The hotel is walking distance from downtown and many shops, churches and museums. Leave your stilettos at home as the streets and sidewalks are bumpy and small, and there is a lot of restoration going on.
The hotel has all the amenities I like- night light in the bathroom (tub and shower) with a magnifying mirror. An iron and safe are provided with in-room coffee and tea. Lady Primrose toiletries and nice as are the two big robes and house shoes. They have nightly turn down service with cookies every night, and weary shoppers are offered lemonade and cookies when the return in the afternoon. Our room had a great balcony with lounge chairs. we had great massage in the room. The Inn doesn't have a spa.
Santa Fe weather was delightful - sweater in the morning, short sleeves in the afternoon.
Our group had a buffet breakfast with oatmeal, egg and cheese burritos or scrambled eggs and granola with al the fixings. A suggestion is that the plates must each weigh a pound and a half, which makes the buffet take two trips.
I love visiting hotel "libraries" and the In-room hotel guide touts Southwestern books, but I didn't find any. This is a collection of old second-hand undistinguished books from a used book store with all book jackets removed. And even worse (for this Library volunteer) many boos were upside down!
On balance, I would heartily recommend the Rosewood Inn of the Anasazi. « less

We just stayed here for the first time and we'll definitely return. All aspects of our time here was superb - particularly the service we received from everyone from the the guys at the door, Bob the concierge, James at the bar, terrific wait staff in the restaurant and the housekeeping staff who couldn't have been more attentive. We had dinner in the restaurant which has to compete with many amazing restaurants in Santa Fe - we had an excellent meal as good as anything we've had for a long time. On top of this it's a great location next to the square. We'd highly recommend this hotel on all counts. « less

"The bid feature of the website is cool. Instead of the buyer committing blindly to the seller, the seller has to accept the buyer's terms and provide a price. We love it." J.K. - Lansing, MI
"Thanks so much for your help. Your website was a lifesaver as I had called that hotel the day before I logged on and was offered a block for almost twice the price!" R.D. - Oak Brook, IL
