Property Description
The Hotel Hannong is a century-old family-run hotel unlike any other in Strasbourg. It's ideally located in the heart of the city, just a 10-minute walk from the train station and next to Place Kléber. Our establishment was founded in 1920 by two brothers, Paul and André Horn, who were both collectors of modern art and made a major contribution to urban planning and art in Strasbourg. In the 1930s, they commissioned a renowned Swiss artist, Sophie Taeuber, to decorate the Hôtel Hannong dance cabaret. Today, Jérôme Anna is the 4th generation to take over the management of this hotel.
Our hotel has 72 rooms, beautiful meeting rooms and a magnificent wine bar, which is also open to Strasbourgeois. What sets us apart from other hotels is our decor, which is based on the codes of the 1930s, and which makes sense in terms of our history. We have the soul of a big house, which creates a very warm atmosphere. You'll love our living spaces, such as the Black & Wine wine bar with our talented team of sommeliers, or our rooftop, open in summer, where we regularly organize after-work events, cocktail dinners and wine tastings.
