not sure how we got such a great deal on this hotel. it's a short walk from the train station, and close to all the major tourist points in town....

not sure how we got such a great deal on this hotel. it's a short walk from the train station, and close to all the major tourist points in town. room had plenty of space with 2 chairs and a lounging couch. our room had great windows on 2 sides of the building that let in plenty of natural light. the windows have electric shutters if you are light sensitive in the am. bed was a little hard for my taste, but good bedding and pillows were a plus. best of all was the giant bathroom! large soaking tub and a separate huge shower with a rain fixture and a hand held power spray. awesome water pressure and plenty of hot water too. we did not go down to the lounge which looked kind of sterile, but the interior staircase was beautiful. highly recommended! « less

Overall they Hannong was ok. On the plus side, the location was excellent and the staff friendly. English was spoken. The room was very small but as advertised...suggest if you want a little more space go for one of their larger rooms as the standard ones are tiny. On the downside...the bed was hard and not particularly comfortable and the room was so hot (in March) we had the window open until we turned off the towel warmer! Yes the rooms are that small that the towel warmer was over heating the room. The hotels doesn't have their own car park but there is a public one around the corner and they have discounted rates. Only problem it was 100% full when we arrived so needed to park at another a little further away. Was a bit annoying driving around and around then back to the hotel to find out what to do. Overall the hotel is ok but I suspect there are better in Strasbourg. « less

We booked this hotel after checking into a very disappointing place on the outskirts of town. We were thrilled that this was so close to Petite France and within walking distance of everything that we wanted to see. There is a wonderful French Market next door that we grabbed charcuterie, cheese and wine for the train ride.
The rooms appeared to be newly remodeled and were very clean. We didn't spend much time in the room as we were there for less than 24 hours. The dinner recommendations from the staff at the front desk were great.
This hotel was like an oasis after bailing out on a very disappointing room elsewhere. We will recommend this place to anyone traveling to Strasbourg. « less

This hotel is a five star hotel with a four star rating!! Its simply wonderful! Our room was quite spacious, staff were really fiendly, and breakfast was excellent! Location is superb, as it is exactly at the centre, only five minutes walk from a shopping square and the tram station.. Only negative thing is that bathroom door did not have a lock..however we had a bath and a shower, so as you can imagine even the bathroom was spacious! Will definately be back:) thank you! « less
