Decently clean (fresh sheets, pen and waste paper behind dresser). Decent free breakfast. Decent price (better places for a few extra bucks). Decent location (5 minutes from grocery store/laundrymat, 10 minutes from mall and restaurants, 15 minutes from Balboa Park).
Workers are nice, the first room we were in the door would not close and lock, moved to another room with no problems. The first night a guy in the next room was arrested and the cops were there for a few hours searching all this stuff and making plenty of noise). Front of the hotel offers a view of residential apartments, back of hotel shows a nice hill and the freeway.
Wi-Fi worked, rooms on the small side. Easy parking, small but nice looking pool (never went in). Room was recently redone (fresh colors, flat screen, ect.)
Would I stay here again? Probably not, for us wanting to see the main tourist attractions we could have stayed closer for the same price or a bit more $$ for a few extras. « less
