All out rooms have refrigerator, microwaves, iron and iron boards as well as a hair dryer. We have over 30 channels of cable TV including HBO. We offer a continental breakfast with Belgain waffles. Our two beds have two full beds with a desk and our one bed has a queen size bed with a desk and recliner. All of our rooms have free high speed wireless access.

After reading so many reviews of motels in the Marion-Carbondale area, and seeing so many 1-2 reviews, I was almost hesitant to check into ANY under $100 motel. However, I tried this one, and am not disappointed. It is well-appointed even though it is a chain, it was clean and comfortable, and the desk staff, both day and night, are wonderfully friendly, helpful, and competent. The location is right off I-57 (unfortunately MAJOR construction all over the exit area) but we found ways to avoid the interstate once we got off. Haven't tried the coffee yet, but there is a McD's and a Pilot literally within walking distance, though we may need to go elsewhere. Also, I wanted to get this written BEFORE bed, so I can't comment on the beds. If there's a problem, I'll just add to this one if I can. « less

Also if your a coffee drinker please go next door to truck stop to get it. We would probably stay again if we come back to this area. Just not the same room. like I said the bed was terrible. « less

Thank you for letting me know that you enjoyed your stay, even though the beds were not up to your standards. I am happy to inform you that we ar in the middle of remodeling our rooms and all our rooms with two beds are going to be up graded to two queen beds. I also understand that you did not enjoy our coffee, however this coffee is madatory by Super 8, therefore I am unable to make any changes. During my stay at Super 8 in Marion, IL we were made to leave our floor because of a drug bust a few door down from our room. We had to stay in the lobby for 30 minutes while the police and fire men cleared the floor and arrested the people staying in the room. Our entire stay was ruined! We always stay at this proptery and it was very dissappointing to see how the manager handled the situtation. « less

I want to apoligize for the inconvience you had while staying at our hotel. This was the first time we have ever had to handle a situation like this and it was very over whelming for our guests, the staff, as well as myself. The guests that were unable to go back to their rooms were transfered to another hotel which we paid for their bill at that hotel and we did not charge the guest for their room here. I am sorry that the situation was not handled the way you felt it should have been but I did my best and worked with the police, fire department as well as our guest to make everyone as happy as possible.
