Mohammad- We loved hosting the ARVO conference, and are so pleased you chose the SpringHill Suites. Seattle had a busy week with this international conference at the Washington State Convention Center, and we scheduled extra shuttle runs to the Convention Center to accomodate our attendees. Thank you for staying with us! I hope the convention was a success!

Room: Clean hotel, modern look however laid out very weird. Not a fan of the bathroom sink being outside of the bathroom. I've stayed at others and they are all the same so should have expected it. Our room was right beside the elevator which was never a problem however we didn't like that our neighbours could look out of there window directly into mine and vice versa. No hair dryer or handheld shower heads.
Pool/Spa/Exercise Room: We didn't use them however the pool looked quite small. They have an exercise room and they also offer for a free use of the 24 hour gym across the street. If we had more time we would have checked it out.
Staff: Could have explained the shuttle service better as well as given better directions to the waterfront. We were a bit lost and had to figure it out ourselves. Had we had a US cell phone with a data plan I am sure the map would have helped.
Continental Breakfast: Standard - waffle maker, scrambled eggs, cereal, oatmeal, toast/bagel area. Everything tasted good. Never saw bacon, skim milk, hot chocolate or strawberry jam.. not a huge deal though.
Location: Not bad, we walked to the waterfront (a couple of km's) a few times. Don't take Stewart all the way, there are couple of steep hills. Go over a block or 2 to Pike, they are much smoother and way more to see and do. The hotel does have a shuttle available that went to the Space Needle every hour on the 1/2 and then on the hour it went to the Convention Center & Westlake Center. If wanting to go to the waterfront/market, get dropped off at Westlake Center and walk down, beautiful area and lots of shopping. Don't forget to book the shuttle with the front desk in advance or you'll look like an idiot standing around waiting for a shuttle that isn't coming to get you. You can also book your return shuttle and can phone to book it back if you are out an about. We ended up taking a cab back a couple of times for $10-$12. Could have walked back however we were exausted from all the walking around on the waterfront and at the market.
Airport: Most cab companies offer a flat rate of $40 to take you to the SeaTac airport or you can take the light rail from Westlake Center for $2.75 each. Light rail was clean, quick & cheap. « less

Stayed for 3 nights, room was clean except for extra sheets and blanket with some hair on it which was quickly addressed by housekeeping. Front desks are very accommodating and helpful. Always had a smile. Shuttle was efficient, leaves every hour to key points of the city.If you're traveling light, take light rail from Sea-tac to Westlake station($2.75)shuttle can pick you up from Sephora designated pick up/drop off point. You'll save at least $40.Location was perfect, you can walk for 15min to downtown if you want to get some exercise. Fitness center is decent and basic, you can work out at the 24hr fitness as privilege too. Continental breakfast is pretty good. I would definitely stay here again. « less

Vince Z- So glad you enjoyed the SpringHill! I'm excited to let you know we will have even more healthy breakfast items when we roll out out new breakfast offerings in July! We will continue to serve our oatmeal with toppings, eggs, yogurts and fruits, but come back to enjoy whole grain Kashi cereals, fresh-cut seasonal fruits to top our Greek yogurts, charcuterie and cheese selections, hard boiled eggs and more!

I stayed in this hotel in March while in Seattle for a conference. It was a nice hotel. The area is okay, but not much around there. The room was standard, but the bed was a little uncomfortable. I ordered room service once and the food was very good. I did not spend much time in the room but the hotel employees were always very nice. The deluxe breakfast was good, plenty of choices everyday. 24 hour coffee and tea was great, the coffee was very good. « less
