Situated in this wonderful countryside, is the ideal place to relax, regenerate your batteries, forget every day stress and rebuild your strength for the future.The oceanfront Piergiorgio Palace Hotel **** is a Caribbean dream-vision, cliffside, above Sosua Bay. A dream realized by Italian fashion designer, Piergiorgio, this white clapboard inn has a wrap-around verandah adorned with ornamental gingerbread, characteristic of Sosua's glory days in the Victorian era. The front entrance replicates a gazebo and faces a dramatic marble staircase that ascends to the third-floor, Italianate penthouses with expansive sundecks. Romantics take to the pink and white floral guest rooms, half of which have ocean views, (the rest overlook the kidney-shaped pool). The bathrooms with their Italian appliances, (bidets, too) add style. With its own brand of Italian hospitality and friendly Dominican staffers, the inn has a magnetic charisma and guests have trouble leaving, which is why three new apartments have been configured for extended stays. All of our spacious rooms with double or kingsize beds are either with view over the sea or the tropical vegetation. The rooms are equipped with flowered Chinz-curtains and fitting bed covers, rattan furniture, tiled floor, auto cooling, TV, safe, telephone (in the bathroom, too) and hairdryer
