Property Description
Hotel Villa Belvedere dating from the beginning of last century is discreetly situated in the rich green belt surrounding Taormina, close to the public Botanical gardens and the ruins of the ancient Greek-Roman Theatre. Although it has been renovated over the years, it has still managed to retain its original cosy and friendly atmosphere. Most of the 47 beautiful and well-furnished bedrooms overlook the terraced orange and lemon gardens, and swimming pool, to the Bay of Naxos and Mount Etna in the distance. The hotel is only a 5 minute stroll from the historical sites, yet sheltered from the hustle and bustle of town life. It is also near the steps leading down to the sea. Villa Belvedere is well suited to the independent and discerning traveller, and has adopted the " Bed and Breakfast" system, which is ideal for those who wish to be free from fixed meals. However, we offer an excellent buffet lunch and à la carte menu around the swimming pool from April to October. The warm welcome and personal service guaranteed by the Pécaut family, helps their visitors to take home a little of the spirit and character of this charming old hotel. The hotel is open from March to November.
