I recently stayed 3 nights at the Nachtigal. It is a newer hotel, everything was clean and well set up. The interior is modern and shows that this is a newer construction yet the exterior keeps with the charming German styling.
The sauna was very nice and relaxing but only open 17:00-22:00 on weeknights. The front desk will provide robes and slipper for sauna use, at no charge.
The internet was good, free and reasonably fast, though it was a minor hassle to input usernames and log ins every couple of hours. You needed a new slip with new name and log-in every 24 hours.
Staff were all very friendly.
Breakfast and dinner were both very good, fresh foods.
Of note, a "double bed" is two singles pushed together. Each with its own sheet and comforter.
There is a a grocery store next door if you need anything. « less

There were not many reviews about this Hotel, but I decided after checking the location out on Google maps it looked peaceful yet close enough to my place of business to give it a try. It is a lovely & peaceful hotel.
The food is great, the staff are professional, friendly but not intrusive and everything was spotlessly clean. Rooms are spacious, lovely branded soaps, body creams shampoos etc.. Rooms were sunny, warm, bright & beds were really comfortable. You could bounce a coin off the sheets.
If you are looking for a change from Best Western in town or the other limited Hotels on offer - give this one a try. I give it 10/10. Its location might not be in the town but if you wanted to it is only a short walk and you are there. If you've got car - parking is free. Wi Fi is extra but that's the norm in Europe.
I stayed in room # 402 - The windows open up to balcony overlooking grassy lawns.
The only suggestion I would like to make is to change the English TV channel offering from CNN to BBC!
