This was the nicest Marriott I have ever stayed in. The hotel was beautiful and the service impeccable. The rooms were very quiet -- we never heard a sound from other rooms, outside, or the hallways. Beds were very comfortable. We chose the hotel to attend a graduation at American University, also on the metro red line. The location of the hotel directly across the street from the White Flint metro stop made it a conveninet location for the graduation and also to go into Washington without having to drive. I would highly recommend the hotel and will consider returning. « less

I travel a lot as my job requires it so. This hotel was WAY expensive for what it offers. The food was EXCELLENT but room service was poor and the location was not great either.
Overall, if you have the money and plan to stay there for 1 night then pay it. For me it was way too boring and expensive. « less

We thought this might be a typical Marriott business hotel because of its name, but we found it to be exceptional, and we've stayed at many, many Marriotts over the years. Our stay was for the weekend. Not only were we greeted by a hostess when we pulled up in front of the hotel to register, but we were greeted by every employee we met when we entered. This was amazing. A security guard even helped me with a small suitcase!
This hotel is new, attractive, and clean. We had a package which included a breakfast that was excellent. The employees went out of their way to be helpful. You can't go wrong here. « less

A pretty nice hotel with very convenient access to the Metro line. I can only give a 4 out of 5 for a hotel that makes you pay for in-room internet access though. Dining options are a little sparse around the hotel. « less
