This hotel is brand new. We enjoyed it immensely. We stayed during the weekend of the University of Colorado graduation, so the hotel was quite full and they were unable to offer a hotel room upgrade. The hotel was in a nice location. The breakfasts and happy hours (M-Th) were great. For happy hour, they offer sodas, beer (Fat Tire!) and wine along with a couple appetizer like food options.
If you are visiting when it's warmer, you can take advantage of the outside sitting area. They also have grills Weber Genesis grills available.
It should be noted that the rooms all have showers stalls instead of bathtubs. « less

Stayed at the Hyatt House in May 2013 with the family in a suite. Paid $140/night, which was a good price considering everything in the area was pretty booked up because of CU graduation. Hotel was very clean, staff was very friendly and the free continental breakfast was a step above what you would normally expect. I don't think the breakfast will win any awards on Food Network, but for free...it was pretty good. The hotel also does a happy hour with free food in the evening during the week where they sell beer. We would stay again for sure! « less

We were staying one night near Boulder, attending a dinner theater and didn't want to drive the 2 hours home late that night. I went online, and found a suite at the Hyatt House Boulder/Broomfield for less than all the chain hotels were charging. Our room was spacious, exceptionally laid out, extraordinarily clean, and we had a delightful stay. The breakfast buffet is a notch up from the standard fare at most restaurants. Staff was tremendous! Will definitely come again! « less

We were here for our daughter's graduation for CU. By the time we had made reservations there were no rooms left in Boulder. Having stayed in Broomfield before , this was our best second choice. First the pros: new clean faciltiy, nicely equipped, spacious, and well lit. Almost full kitchen and daily WSJ paper were pluses. Breakfasts were adequate and included in the price. The hotel is very near the highway and easy to find. Staff were mostly responsive except as noted below.
Now the minuses. The bathroom off the master has no privacy for commode use. The sliding door sounds like a 747 readying for take-off and obviously not restful if one person needs to enter and turn on light at night. Their partner will awaken either from a bright light in their eyes or the loud noise of the door closing. The rooms should be retrofitted with something more practical. The AC/heating unit is very loud turning on and off. The last day of the stay we missed housekeeping by 5-10 minutes and told front desk at 10 am we were leaving and would like room serviced. Back at 3 pm and room still not done. Call to front desk gave some excuse about too many late requests. Still not sure if we will get service today. « less

phmokda, Thank you for taking a moment to share your experience with us at Hyatt House. Congratulations to your daughter on her graduation from CU. We’re happy to have had you as our guests, and we’re glad you liked our clean hotel, spacious accommodations and accessible location. Your feedback is important to me. I sincerely apologize for the noise disturbances you encountered during your stay and for failing to meet your housekeeping needs with our excellence in service. We appreciate our guests taking the time to provide us with valuable feedback both positive and opportunities for improvement. We value you as our guest and hope you’ll have an opportunity to visit us again soon. Thank you again for writing.
Sincerely, Eric Finney, General Manager

The building is fine, the rooms are fine. The staff (most of them, but not all) are in desperate need of proper training about how to treat guests. One of the male members of the front desk barely greets you, the other male member is highly concerned about talking to girls rather than paying attention to the guests.
You are right next to train tracks and about every six hours there is a train at all hours. The highway leading to and from Boulder is a complete construction nightmare and traffic in both directions at anytime of day is nearly impossible.
I found it amazing that the internet is slow, the outdoor fireplace doesn't work, the rear seating area of the building has a filthy concrete floor that should have been power-washed over a year ago. I think the slack staff is a direct result of poor guidence and management. I would recommend you select the Omni nearby or find a Marriott. « less

Testimonials: Why use Hotel Planner?
"We had a most enjoyable experience at the Radisson. They went out of their way to make our meeting a success. I gave your website to our travel supervisor so she can use it in the future. It certainly makes planning a meeting much easier. Thanks for your help." P.K. - Chicago, IL
"Thank you, everything went very well and I have recommended your site to several people and I will use you next time I have to make a group booking. You made my job so easy, it was so nice having hotels send bids to me instead of me spending hours calling hotels." J.A. - Mount Pleasant, SC
