A full sized desk, with it's 2 line phone, voicemail and dataport, serves perfectly for your home office.
The modern kitchen is fitted with honey maple cabinets and equipped with a full-size refrigerator, a stove top, vented microwave oven, a dishwasher and a coffeemaker. The supply of elegant and functional kitchenware will no doubt enhance the value of the time spent in this space.
The bedroom features our custom “Park Lane” mattress, built-in louvred closets, a three drawer dresser, a full length dressing mirror and an iron and ironing board. Aromae botanical toiletries and 100% cotton oversized bath towels are standard.

An Inn that provides free wifi, free flow roasted coffee, cookies and fruits all day and yet the room rate is reasonable! They do provide a dollar washer and a dollar dryer for laundry. The inn is within walking distance to downtown (~ 20 minutes) or you can simply take Bus 20 or Bus 15 at W Burnside to downtown. « less

We were in the 2 story motel side and it was perfectly fine. If you can, request a room on the second floor as then you dont hear the people above. « less

I stayed across the street at the inn. It's a basic two story motel with minimal amenities. The room had hardwood floors, bed, two side tables, an Ikea type table and chairs, and a dresser with a t.v. above it. A blow dryer was inside the dresser. No coffee maker or closet. The shower was very strong flowing with no choice to have a lighter flow (and I couldn't stop water from going onto the floor, so I put towels on the floor while showering). Across the street at the office with friendly staff is 24 hour coffee, tea and cookies. A block away is Starbucks, Peet's coffee and a grocery store. From that area is an awesome neighborhood filled with beautiful houses, restaurants, bars and independent retailers. The Red Line is about a 10 minute walk away. 20 minute walk to downtown shopping district. 25 minutes or so and you can walk to the rose gardens and Japanese gardens. I would definitely stay here again. If you want more amenities, across the street are more "apartment" type rooms with kitchens. « less

We picked this hotel as they had a two bedroom suite available and it was close to downtown.The room it self was not very clean and I cut my foot on broken glass in the bedroom carpet. The refrigerator in both rooms were broken (we had 2 suites) but we were able to make due with a freezer that worked like the fridge. There are no amenities and the WiFi really did not work and the computer in the lobby did not either.They did let me use a computer in the office though and the staff was friendly. The bed was very uncomfortable and the pull out sofa was horrible. For the price and location it was of ok but if I stayed in Portland again I would stay elsewhere. The ac was only in the living space and did not cool the bedroom. « less

I always have a great experience when I stay at the Park Lane Inn. The exterior is a little raw looking, however the rooms are remodeled, comfortable and clean. Great TV. The staff is always very accommodating.
Wi-Fi is a little hard to get in some rooms. I love that the MAX is just a few blocks away. This way you can keep your car at the hotel while exploring the city or get to the zoo! Saves on parking fees, which can add up.
I would recommend this resting place for anyone who is looking for a great rate, downtown. « less
