Property Description

The Mount Hotel and Conference Centre is somewhere very special with a wealth of character and charm. Located in Tettenhall Wood on the outskirts of Wolverhampton lies this graceful country house set within 4 acres of listed manicured gardens and ornamental woodland.The Hotel is a Grade II Listed building 19th Century Manor House originally built in 1865 for Benjamin Manders, a local wealthy man who created and developed a successful paint and textile business. The house retains many of its original features including the rosewood panelled Great Hall and elegant staircase and benefited from the addition of a state of the art conference centre.Accommodation at the Mount comprises of 65 bedrooms located in the renovated Grade II listed stables, the main house and the custom-built wing. We offer standard, family, deluxe, executive, suites and an apartment. The wing of deluxe rooms were completely rennovated at the beginning of 2013 and they have king sized beds, 32 inch LCD tv's and luxury toiletries. All of the bedrooms are finished to a high quality.The Mount Hotel is the ideal venue for conferences, meetings, weddings and special events. It boasts 15 conference rooms ideal for events from 1-to-1 interviews or conferences for up to 200 delegates. Overnight accommodation comprises 65 thoughtfully equipped en-suite bedrooms.The hotel offers a wealth of facilities to accommodate every event and has been designed for maximum flexibility, from the stylish Classic Boardrooms for senior management meetings to dedicated training rooms created to provide an ideal tutoring and learning environment.The hotel is the perfect setting for weddings and we have several rooms licensed for civil ceremonies and civil partnerships.The totally self contained, purpose built Conference Centre located within the heart of the hotel is fully equipped with the latest audio visual and presentation equipment. Several of the meeting rooms have air conditioning and all rooms benefit from natural daylight.Within the gardens are flat grass areas suitable for all types of team building activities.
