We spent 3 days in March for our Anniversary and we had a beautiful and spacious room with a fireplace and spectacular views of the ski hills. There is a wonderful new hot pool outside that was very beautifully landscaped and very invigorating to enjoy. The hotel is a short walk from everything in the village. Stores, restaurants and outlet shops are very conveniently located. We ate at the very lovely hotel restaurant the first night that we were there, but although it is lovely to look at, the food was not up to par with the high prices. We were very disappointed. But there are so many lovely places to eat in the village, that although we would definitely stay at the Manoir again, we would not eat in the restaurant again. The bar area is great with very reasonable prices and entertainment. « less

I stayed 1 night - 2 days and compare to other hotel in the region, you feel a bit better premium. The check in and check out could be better - there is only one personnel that does both and if there is a big enough line, you could have a second person to come help. It's not clear what is the process/trigger to get more people to come help at the front desk. It could be long to check in and check out.
I had a standard room with two queen beds. The room is roomy enough, window is small but we had a nice view on the mountain. The beds are comfortable with lots of good quality pillows. The bathroom is average with lots of counter room.
The breakfast that comes with the price of the room is buffet style and is ok but nothing to write about. The variety is ok as well, you won't be stuck with eating cereals and muffins.
The spa area is nice and very relaxing. The exterior baths are really good and very nice to try in winter. They are renovating and expending the pool area so it's going to be even better in a year. You need to bring your own robe and footwear which could be a problem if you forgot or did have the space in your luggage. The fact that they don't accommodate you is kind of a downer. Bring your bathing suite, your bath robe and footwear...it's worth it.
There is a kid area that resemble a kids club in a resort. There is a movie showing and an arcade. The tv in room is just ok ... analogue cable and not too many choices of channel. There is no vending machines so if you have munchies in the evening and you don't want to use the pricy in room bar...go chopping for it before you get settle for the night.
The parking is fine and they have valet parking and interior parking. The hotel is in center town and 5 min from the mountain.
The hotel is a bit pricy for the aging overall quality of the hotel. You won't be disappointed but you won't be overwhelm. They offer packages for spa, ski or others which is good if you don't know the region. « less

This huge resort is located about 45 min away from Montreal. I stayed for 2 nights. Accommodation was OK, room comfortable but cold and breakfast just OK, nothing to remember. Front desk staff was quite unhelpful and slow and pricing very high for the quality received. I general the premises were not very well preserved, looking aged and worn in several places. « less

If the Manoir was in Montreal or even in Mont-Tremblant, it would rate an average ranking. But for Saint-Sauveur, it's probably as close to a 4-star hotel as you can find.
The decor and finishes are old-world classic. The interior has the look of a 4-star, and even 5-star, old style hotel. There is even interior parking for a reasonable price.
The room furniture and beddings was a bit of a strange mix. The old style TV cabinet is still there, but it now houses the mini-bar. The TV is a good sized wide-screen unit, although the picture quality was not very good. The desk is rather small, without all the outlets you would expect for today's electronics. The beddings look the part of a modernized hotel. But I found the pillows all too hard and the duvet far too heavy.
The weakest link in the room was the bathroom, more precisely the bath/shower. No deluxe here. The bathtub is more typical of a motel anywhere in North America. In our group, this is what attracted the most complaints. The temperature control was also an issue. The rooms and conference rooms seemed either too cold or too hot.
On a positive note, the staff was helpful and pleasant. The food was rather good (although the breakfast buffet offered the traditionally over-cooked scrambled eggs).
All in all, if you want the convenience of staying in Saint-Sauveur, instead of elsewhere in the region, the Manoir is a good choice. Ask for a room that is not overlooking the outdoor parking. That can be a real issue for some ground-floor rooms.
