Rooms are nice and clean, but small. This is styled after the Cinder Block motels in the states, without the AC under the front window. They could have added 2-3 feet to the rooms and put the bed along the long wall, as there is no space along one side of the bed to get in or out. Could not imagine sleeping here when is gets over 30C (86F) as the window only opens 3 inches. The buffet breakfast would have been 30 euro for us, which we didn't get. The downtown pedestrian area is only 1.4km away with plenty of places to eat. Room is equipped with a hot water boiler. There is a Chinese restaurant just a short walk south of the hotel which we had dinner at (not listed in tripadvisor, Wok Masters at Doesburgseweg 2 - 600 meters from the hotel) - actually the best Chinese I've had in Europe. The parking lot was full by 9pm, and I didn't see any overflow lot available. The Campanile Arnhem-Zevenaar is best for those on a budget who just need a place to sleep.. « less

This hotel reminded me more of a motel, located at a busy road and close to a petrol station. The location is not very appealing. Our room was tiny and in desperate need of a makeover. The basic interior probably didn't change for the last 30 years. I spotted yellow stains on the lamps and it all seemed a little too old-fashioned for my taste. On a positive note, the room was clean and the bathroom had a small tub. Breakfast comes at 10,95 Eur extra per person, but we weren't tempted. Instead, we went to Bagels & Beans in Arnhem (give it a try!). The restaurant menu looked uninspiring and did not offer any Veggie options. « less
