We stayed here in October 2012 for one night during our honeymoon. It was a detour from our Route 66 trip as we wanted to see the bridge, and didn't want to stay in Needles. We were welcomed by Jeff, a laid back friendly guy. He was interested in our trip and upon learning we were on our honeymoon he upgraded our room for us, free of charge! And when I say upgraded, I really mean it. We got the penthouse suite with a direct view of the bridge. On top of that, he even gave us a $20 voucher to a great restaurant across the road, plus a couple of drinks vouchers for the hotel bar. What a welcome!
Honeymoon or not, we'd recommend the Heat hotel to anyone going to Lake Havasu. « less

We had such a great stay at the Heat Hotel the week and a half before the spring breakers got there. It kind of had the feel of an apartment building as you walk through the halls and go up the elevator, and it's a little strange that there's a bar at the check in desk, but the hotel is very cozy and a GREAT USE OF SPACE. I don't think any room doesn't look over the water.
We stayed on the second floor in about the middle of the block of regular rooms and it was perfect. We slept with the sliding doors open so it took a little getting used to when their NIGHTCLUB plays music until about 1-2 am every weekend night, even though there wasn't anyone there drinking. We got used to it. But if you're a light sleeper it might be somewhat of a loud place with the windows open, it's very close to the bridge which the traffic can be heard and walkers talking down below. There are some shops below the hotel on the water, one of which we rented paddle boards and it was perfect.
The staff is so nice and always available. It has the best VIEW OF THE BRIDGE out of any hotel in Havasu City. the BEDS were the best part though. So soft and fluffy, so if you'd prefer a harder bed you might have to request it. The TOWELS are great too, so soft and clean. Unlike usual hotel towels. They weren't new, but they felt like they were. We had a great stay there.
In our regular room we had; WI-FI MINI FRIDGE MICROWAVE BALCONY TOILETRIES offered daily and a couple of free DRINK TICKETS for their bar « less

First off, the hotel has only 25 rooms so don't look for a big place. As soon as you cross the London Bridge, make a left into Cantina parking lot and left again to bottom lot which belongs to heat. The registration desk looks like a bar. Very hip LA or South Beach feel, including so so friendly attendant. It's right on the river so I'm sure it's the spot to be when the city is packed. Rooms are good size, clean, and looks like newer decor. Stay here if your looking for location and adult fun. London Bridge Resort on other side of bridge looks better for families. « less

We had been to Lake Havasu before and stayed at a different Hotel and I remembered that I liked the location of ths Hotel. It did not disapoint! It is right on the river and an easy walk to everything you need. We were there during the week right after Spring Break so it was quiet and relaxing. It was very windy during our stay so being able to sit on our balcolny and enjoy the river was great! Love this Hotel...would totally recommend it. Great staff, very clean room and beautiful view....perfect. « less

We were on the 3rd floor, wonderful view! Probably could have stayed in the room the whole 3 days with the beautiful view overlooking the London Bridge. We were there on the tail end of spring break, which added additional entertainment! The open bar across the channel was obnoxiously loud on Tuesday night...Kokomo Bar? Forgive me if I IDed the wrong place, but it was incredibly LOUD and we couldn't really see that many patrons there. Another poster mentioned the banging on the door, we must have been on the same floor because it kept us awake too. Between the bar and the banging, it was a tough couple hours. Outside of that, we would definitely stay here again. Large suite, very comfortable bed, great cleaning service, friendly and courteous front desk staff (Guy), all good. Even baby owls roosting under the London Bridge! Old TV is about the only negative I can think of. Book here, you'll Be glad you did! « less
