The beautifully appointed villas at The Royal Haciendas sleep up to six people. They have two bedrooms and two bathrooms with double sinks, a fully equipped kitchen, a living area with pull-down Murphy beds, a dining area and a private ocean-view terrace with a whirlpool tub for two, sun beds and seating for four.

Recreation
There are four large pools at The Royal Haciendas, two of which are semi-Olympic lap pools and the other two are Infinity pools with pool bars. Whirlpools and hammocks provide an additional touch of luxury and there are separate pools for children.

It was the first time for my wifw and I to stay at the Royal Haciendas after buying a week 4 years ago. We basically had a wonderful time when we stayed there last week with one glaring exception. Our room was entered without our knowledge on the Sunday after out Saturday arrival. The housekeeping staffs do not work on Sunday so we left our medications out in the kitchen area when we went to the beach. Later that night we noticed that our medication package had been opened and a container of needed medications were stolen. We reported the theft the next morning to 8 staff members, including the sales staff when we were discussing buying an additional week. There was no action taken, never any updates as to what was being done ( as it turned out, nothing), and the theft of our very important medication was ignored until we persisted for 4 days with 2 managers. We decided not to buy the additional week, and advised 2 families that were also interested in buying to think twice before paying out a considerable amount for a resort with such poor management and services. « less

My husband & I are Royal Resorts owners at the Royal Caribbean Resort in Cancun, which is also very nice. We just love the town of Playa del Carmen, so we periodically trade for the Royal Hacienda in Playa del Carmen. The rooms are very nice, the pool and beach areas are beautiful, and service is good. The food options at the resort are okay, but not outstanding, so we tend to venture into Playa del Carmen most evenings for dinner. Non-members must take the all-inclusive option, & there are decent dining options within the complex as well for those folks. « less

I stayed here for a week in May with a friend in my condo- our location was right on the beach, jacuzzi tub on the patio with access to the sand, 2 bedroom, 2 bath with full kitchen and guest kitchenette- probably the best location on the property! The service here is great, friendly staff who make you feel like you are part of a family! The food here is also very good but be sure to check out other spots in Playa Del Carmen as there are plenty of places to eat at!
One nice thing about our stay is the accommodations they gave us as we waited for our flight. We left on a Saturday and unfortunately could not request a late checkout so we had to be our of the condo by 11am. The hotel offers "guest quarters" where they allow you to still hang out on the property, you have access to showers, changing rooms, lockers, etc. so you can hang out if you have a late flight like we did (6:pm flight). The airport is about 30 min away. I will definitely be back here next year! « less

Airport Transfers to the Royal Resorts are offered by Thomas More Travel.
Arrival Shared Service is provided for flights arriving from 7AM to 9:45PM. For Round Trip Shared Transfer Reservation, the first pick up time available from the resort is at 6:30AM and the last is at 7:30PM.
