Our trip was not a pleasure trip but rather a stressful visit to a relative in the Emory University Hospital. The Inn staff went far beyond to help us by allowing us to park in their parking lot and use their shuttle back and forth to the hospital even before we actually checked in. We stayed 1 night and they allowed me a late checkout so that I could determine the need for staying another night. My sister-in-law had been staying at the hospital and although I checked in as 2 adults, I called the desk and asked if she could stay with us and this was ok'd and a parking permit was provided for her also. The second night we sat up at the hospital and by 9:00 am we were extremely wore out and tired. My brothers health was failing and I knew we would need to stay another night so I called the Emory Inn and explained the situation and asked if we could check in for that night and asked if it would be possible to check back in at that hour of the morning. They graciously said yes allowing us to get some much needed rest before returning to the hospital later in the afternoon. The next day the Inn allowed us to stay parked and use their shuttle even after we had checked out. Both rooms that we stayed in were clean and comfortable. My husband's back is bad and it is always a concern to him on the quality of the mattresses. There has been times he has awaken in more pain than before going to bed due to a bad mattress. We were both very pleased with the mattress's comfort and quality. The Inn provided coffee, orange juice, and blueberry muffins which was a nice quick little breakfast. The shuttle service was very rapid with just short waits once the drivers were called. Drivers were nice and informative. They told us they would shuttle within one mile of the Inn whether it be hospitals, restaurants, grocery stores, etc.. All the staff were friendly and extremely nice and helpful. I don't know if I will ever be in that area again. Ultimately, my brother passed on to his home in Heaven. If I ever am in the area of the Emory Inn again and need a place to stay I will be glad to once again stay at the Inn. Thanks to all the Emory Inn Staff. « less

I recently stayed at the Emory Inn with my son during his campus visit at Emory University. I thought it would be nice to stay at a bed and breakfast ( ("Emory Inn" ) instead of a large conference center. It's an old run down motel, not an "Inn". Not worth a penny! The lock on the door was broken. My son who was going to go out with some friends on campus felt bad and decided to stay in the room with me because it was so shady. The room was dirty. When we tried to plug in our iphones to recharge, the outlets were disgusting, covered in dust and dirt. The floor was gross, the bathroom small and dirty as well. The bed was uncomfortable, pillows were ancient and the linens were gross. The TV was from another decade and the reception was horrible. DO NOT STAY THERE. « less

This hotel is just not worth the price or the time. From the moment I walked into the room my family and I were cramped. The bathroom was so tiny that only one person was able to use it at a time. Hotel staff was quite annoying, unskilled, and not able to get things done. Not only did they lose our reservation, have no information about the surrounding area, and act like they did not want to be there, they over charged us by $120. After calling them 6 times, leaving 2 e-mails, and getting very frustrated, did they finally "refund" my money (Apparently they refunded the money, but it hasn't showed up in my bank balance.) Along with all of this they did not have wireless Internet. As someone who needs to be on their iPad for business 24/7, I was outraged that they did not have WiFi. I mean how hard is it to upgrade a little bit? And don't get me started on their "continental breakfast", it was nothing but dried out muffins and orange juice from the restaurant in the hotel. If I had to say anything to someone who was thinking about staying here I would tell them to STAY AWAY!!! « less

Very accessible, very close to Emory and over the road from Bone Fish, Marlows and a number of restuarants. Emory Inn is showing its age and rooms are dated and lack wifi. Also no elevators. Rooms comfortable and their inclusive "light breakfast" is very light. Coffee, OJ and one muffin. Thats it! In summer they have an outdoor pool. « less
