Situated on 100 beautifully landscaped acres filled with flowers, gardens, fruit trees, coconut palms and rainforest trails, the family-owned Windy Hill Resort provides all the modern conveniences in a lush tropical setting — yet it is just minutes from the archaeological sites, rivers, caves and other attractions that visitors come to see and experience in Belize. Each of its cottages is decorated with exotic hardwoods, local art and hand-woven rugs. All the furnishings are custom-made by local craftsmen. Each room is also equipped with private bath, A/C (or without if you prefer), H/C water, ceiling fans and cable TV. Amenities include a swimming pool, fitness center, recreation area, gift shop, phone/fax/internet access, nature trails and daily, guided excursions to all local sites and attractions.In the evening, guests may come down to the Black Orchid Restaurant to enjoy the finest home-cooked Belizean & International dishes, complete with delicious soups and desserts.
