The corner cozy sofa (L) shaped is great to just lay on quick, put your clothes out for the day. Great desk and workspace, and if you wanna go out so close to family friend restaurants and business upscale all within walking distance of the hotel/ « less

This isn't the Hyatt you can see across the highway from the parking garages at Universal, you can walk down the road from there, but I liked our location better. Free parking at out hotel, so the $15 for Univrersal was charge to park. Place had a nice pool, great views out the window of the room as well as at the end of the halls. You can slip out the backside onto Universal Blvd and drive a few minutes north just past Wet and Wild right into the Universal pkg lots. Very nice staff, greated us coming and going all day/ evening. We loved the included breakfast - stuff was fresh every morning (coffee was great). Plenty of seating too. Located within a 2 minute walk was Senor Frogs, Cattleman's Steakhouse (fantastic place), and even a Walgreens 2 minutes further. Across the street was helicopter tours. Highly recco this hotel. Rooms were nice and clean, big TV's too. « less

My first experience staying at a Hyatt Place. Fabulous! Check in was easy- we were made to feel welcome at and were given a quick tour (rather like a boutique hotel!) before going to our room.
Room was exactly as pictured online- the separation between bed and the large corner couch (complete with a clean throw for cuddling) made the room feel spacious but cozy. The large television swiveled to both sides for a great view from either area. Toilet and shower are enclosed with a large granite counter area outside for grooming- spacious enough for two people with plenty of well lit mirror space.
Breakfast was a step up from the usual hotel fare and was served on actual plates, with glasses and ceramic mugs. Nice! For dinner we went to Don Pablos next door for an inexpensive yummy meal. Since we walked we could enjoy a pitcher of margaritas without worrying about driving!
This is my new favorite place to stay when business or pleasure brings me to Orlando! « less

My daughter and I stayed here to be close to the convention center and we walked to it. We were on the top floor. The room was typical for the Hyatt place hotels although this hotel is not quite as upscale as some of the others we have stayed in it was nice regardless with 2 "living areas" and comfortable bedding. The service was very good the breakfast adequate with some hot dishes. The price was much less than the other hotels that have walkways to the convention center. There are many places to eat within walking distance, we would stay here again. « less
