5th trip to St. Barts. From the moment we were picked up, we knew we chose the right place for our stay on St. Barts for the week.
Having chosen the Hotel Christopher based on Trip Advisor’s reviews, I can understand how this place has been Ranked #2 of 35. We are still here at the Hotel Christopher, had some time so decided to post this review. The weather is wet out there but still loving the hotel.
Upon arrival we were greeted by the hotel's driver and when our bag did not show on the WinAir flight from SXM, the driver advised us that he will take care of everything a few hours later our bag arrived and was delivered to our room while we were at the pool.
Food – Mango’s and Taino’s not a bad meal to be had all week, from Fresh Fish of the day, Mahi, Mahi sandwich to a fantastic Hamburger all with Frites yummy. Mozzarella with tomatoes, to their springs rolls with sushi were all prepared well. Breakfast Buffet in the morning was complete included fried eggs to order, don’t know how they made them but better than mine at home, even French Toast & Pancakes.
At the Beach Bar Mango’s - Jackson and his team prepared some wonderful drinks and to the hard working team members - Virginia, Katea, Stebearie, Max and Cyril a Big Thank you. Let us not forget the Front Desk Staff especially Paulo and Concierge (Rafael) who couldn’t do enough to make our stay more wonderful, any request from spa to restaurant reservations were greeted with no problem we will take care of it.
The swimming pool is the nicest on the Island, kids yes they ranged from small to teens so what they were just being themselves and did not hinder our stay at all.
Room #207 overlooks the Ocean, small part of the Pool and Taino – King bed, small sitting area and double sink bathroom with a Rain Head Shower. For all the time we spent in the room our room was perfect. We did not have a balcony but didn’t require one. Maid & Turn-down service was perfect.
SPA Sisley – My spouse and I cannot say enough about the team they having working there. I had two massages and a body scrub – some of the best that I have had and I have had a lot of body treatments. Slept through most of them...
Rental Car – We rented a car at the hotel and were treated very well by the valet. Even a GPS in the car, helped sometimes but Island is easy to get around and very fun to drive a car especially with a screaming “BACK” seat driving spouse :). Only Problem people from the USA had including us. Heads up at the gas pumps they only accept a special bank credit card with a chip on it. Othewise do like us the few times we filled up, beg a local and pay them in Euros..give them a few extra for thier help... They need to change that at the pumps or allow you to prepay from the rental agency a gas card for fill ups.
We cannot wait to return to one of the best Islands and to an even better hotel.

We have been going to SBH for 14 years. We stayed at the Old banane and the new Banane (which we do not recommend) before we started to stay at villas. This time we had a plumbing problem at our villa and Wimco put us up for the night at Le Christophe. We were greeted by a wonderful staff who offered us a drink (It was late and I think they sensed we needed one-they were right). Marie took us up to our suite and set the temperature as we wanted and showed us where everything was. She could not have been nicer. The suite was very chic and cleverly laid out. Modern design- a treat to the eyes. A handsome balcony with a great view of the pool and the ocean. There were dessert treats on the bed. It is very clean and very well appointed. Breakdast was included in the rate. The service and view were great as well as the choices on the menu. Highly recommend. Thank you Cheistophe!!! « less

The sound of the waves crashing was prominent in every area of this great hotel. We had an ocean terrace room, perfect distance from the infinity pool. The drinks at the pool bar (although expensive, but what isn't on St. Barts) were flowing and extremely tasty. We had a package that included a rental car, and was driving it on this island ever fun. The hotel staff could not have been more attentive to our every need. The clientele was a mixed age from little kids all the way up. I would certainly stay here again. « less

We are an Irish/French couple and travelled to St Barth's from London with our little toddler. Christopher hotel is perfect especially with small children - primarily because of the pool (which I have read is the largest pool on the island) which is split between shallow & deep. We had a junior suite which was spacious and comfortable, although we missed having our own outdoor space while our son napped. Breakfast is refined and delicious, lunch at Mango by the water is relaxed and dinner in Taino very nice. The staff are friendly and always offered to babysit and are happy to organise this between them. Very good concierge services. Sisley spa is excellent. Sometimes I felt that the hotel had missed opportunities to make this feel really like a 5 star resort (eg. offering complimentary chilled bottled water by the pool). Understated and unpretentious luxury overall, we would love to return !! « less

The lunches were on two out of six accompanied by music, the Brazilian afternoon, lovely and the 60's mood singer. had fresh coconuts and my favourite burger, Thai salad and a mean grilled local lobster. « less
