The room features a stunning white Belgium limestone fireplace, thirteen-foot-high windows, and a French limestone floor quarried in the 19th century. The lounge serves artisan cheeses and charcuterie from Formaggio Kitchen.

We stayed at Hotel Veritas one night for a staycation. We had no expectations going into it, but we loved every minute of our stay. The staff was wonderful, beautiful hotel, loved the Nespresso machine in the lobby and the complimentary refreshments. The room was small, but modern, clean & gorgeous. In the morning, we ventured out to get some pastries from Flour which we brought back to eat outside on the patio. Considering the location, it was quiet. Will definitely recommend to family & friends! Thanks for a great stay!! « less

We stayed one night in April and got a very good rate online. The hotel upgraded us from a petite queen to a queen at check in, which was very nice. This is not a big conference hotel, if you come without those expectations you will really appreciate this hotel. The staff is very friendly and attentive. There are free sodas and drinks at the front desk and a cute little lounge. The hotel looks like a house from the outside and it keeps that homey feel inside as well. We just walked up the stairs to the 2nd floor like we were coming home. Good tv reception, free internet, very nice bathroom. The location is fine - just a bit outside the noise of the Square and close to all of the great shops and restaurants between Harvard Sq and Central Sq, and its just a short walk down to the river. « less

I have been staying at the Veritas since it opened. I loved it then but it has grown and grown on me as I have discovered some of the larger rooms on higher floors. The beds, sheets, towels and other details are top-of-the-line and the service you get from the minute you step inside the door is truly special. They know me there now so I feel like I am coming home everytime I go. Favorite moment: getting my cappuccino from their Nespresso machine as soon as I wake up. I am hooked! « less

This is a great boutique hotel that adds a nice dimension to a Harvard area dominated by the Charles (overpriced), the Sheraton (ancient) and the Inn at Harvard Square (bare bones). The Veritas is only 2 years old and shines like the new hotel it really is. The rooms, although small, are well done and comfortable. The shower was fantastic. The fitness center is across the street with free access for hotel guests, and it has everything a full-service fitness center should have--a big advantage over the standard, often small fitness centers in most small hotels. They provide free water and coffee at the front desk, and the high-end by-the-cup coffee machine made the best coffee (in real mugs!) I've ever had at a hotel.
Best of all, the location is exceptional--a five-minute walk to Harvard Yard and the Harvard Square T, easy access to the Kennedy School, Business School and Law School. If you're a runner, and the weather cooperates, you can get to the long trails along the Charles River in five minutes or less.
The staff is super friendly and they went out of their way to help with everything we needed. We had the rotten timing of staying in Cambridge during the lockdown weekend, and the staff did all that they could to keep us comfortable and well-informed.
I would definitely stay here again the next time I'm in Cambridge. « less
