We dropped in to Poco Diablo from the house we were staying at nearby for lunch, dinner and happy hour and found the service to be excellent, the prices to be very reasonable and the staff very helpful. I had a great burger for lunch and the hot wings and beer at happy hour really hit the spot. The tennis club is a great place to meet new friends. We paid the $20 activity fee and were treated like the members....special. A hidden jewel in Northern Arizona! « less

I was part of a convention and graduation ceremony taking place at the Poco Diablo so chose to stay here because it was convenient. From my first call, I felt that I would be well-taken care of by the wonderful staff. The concierge emailed a welcome and I got set up on a terrific vortex tour and he even helped me get around by public transportation which was super easy! The staff is exceptionally helpful and friendly. The views are lovely. The first evening I sat on the deck area enjoying the fragrance of the rose, sounds of the birds, a gentle breeze and red rock views. A slice of heaven! « less

We did not stay at Poco Diablo but had been told that we would be able to play tennis there for a small fee ($20/hr). We dropped in the first day and booked a court. The pro told us we could help ourselves to a hopper of balls and that there was ice water on the court. We played for an hour then sat down to watch some tennis. Most of the players are local residents who belong to Poco Diablo for the tennis and/or golf. What a lovely group of people; we were welcomed to join in on the open tennis and several members invited us to play doubles. It is a well run club offering drills, organized play and the courts are well maintained. We also enjoyed a drink and a meal at the resort. . . overlooking the golf course. Friendly service, good value. « less

My husband and I decided to take a trip on our motorcycle up to Sedona for the weekend. When we arrived at the Poco Diablo I was very impressed with the service and attentiveness of the front desk. They were on it! I originally booked online, then the guy at the front desk noticed I was an AZ resident and gave me an AZ resident discount. The property is very nice, the buildings appear older from the outside, however the room was updated with a comfortable bed, flat screen TV, free wifi, refrigerator, etc. The bed was very comfortable and the room was very clean. We really enjoyed our stay and the service. The resort is off the main drag in Sedona a little bit, which keeps you away from the noise of the busy streets. « less

Everyone at Poco Diablo was very warm and friendly. The concierge was helpful pointing us in the right direction, and giving us hiking suggestions. We had a lovely room right on the golf course with a patio so that we could sit out and enjoy watching people play on through.
Poco Diablo is on the outskirts of town, between Main Street and the Chapel of the Holy Cross. Keep a close eye out for your turn, or you'll miss it! « less
