First, the front desk workers were good. But...we had a problem with the pool. First, it looked very cloudy when we got there. There were no towels available. I asked about the towels and they were in the dryer because of the crowd. That was okay; I understood that. But..after going there because of the pool for our 3 grandchildren to swim, I wasn't pleased with the cloudiness. Then after an hour of swimming, come to find out that someone had pooped in the pool. Normally, a pool has to be shut down after that. They said we had a option if we wanted to continue to swim. Of course, we didn't. Then we went to breakfast the next morning at 9:00. Breakfast is until 10:00. A lot of the food was not replenished. No more rolls. The worker was working by herself and needed help to keep replenishing and keeping eating area clean. When we left we told them we were not happy with the pool situation since that was the reason we came. We did not expect our money returned, but we did expect a discount. None was given. We were told there was nothing they could do about it. In our room, the coffee pot had dust on it and the windows were all finger touched. The window had not been cleaned on the inside. « less

My family had a last minute trip to Toledo and we decided to stay here based on the price and reviews. I must say, its a great value. Clean, no weird smells, nice suites, and a hot breakfast. The hotel is in a rural area but is very close to downtown Toledo and a Meijer store. The only complaint I have is that there was no lock on the bathroom door. Other wise, stay here! « less

We spent the night here to be near a Bob Seger concert in downtown Toledo. This was on a Friday night and we had scheduled a cab to meet us as soon as we arrived to take us to said concert. Upon checking in I was told that the Black and White Cab had been requested at 4:30 that day for us at 7:30 that night. The concert started at 8. So we waited and waited and waited some more and no cab. I had the clerk call the company three more times before the scheduled driver showed up, then didn't offer any excuse and there was no visible meter in the car. When I asked him how much the to expect for the fare for the 10 minute ride he told me "About $15, $16, depends." I asked him if he'd be the driver taking us back and was told "Maybe, maybe not. There will be cabs lined up outside. Just get into one and they'll take you." We got there in time as it turned out because there was an opening act that no one knew about and wasn't on the ticket. After a very satisfying performance, we sought one of the Black and White cabs that were supposed to be lined up outside. None were available that weren't already booked so we waited and waited and waited outside in a very cold night for someone, anyone to show up. I tried to call the cab company twice and my phone battery died. The bar across the street told my husband that "they don't make calls for people but they'd give him the number." Helpful. Finally a Yellow cab appeared as if by magic and we literally ran up to the door to try to get in. He called the hotel to find out where we were and invited us into his warm car. There was a large digital meter in plain view and he was a Toledo trivia expert who quizzed us during the ride and made it fun. The hotel itself was everything that previous reviewers have described, and the next morning Laura helped me a lot with driving directions and finding the next city on their computer. I wish that we had time to go into the heated pool or enjoy some popcorn, but did have breakfast there and it was very good. « less

In a perfect world, All Sleep Inn's would have a heated pool, sauna, excellent wi-fi, extremely comfortable bed, jacuzzi suite, flat screen tv, ample parking for rv's semi's, free breakfast, late breakfast if you miss breakfast,clean rooms, big bathrooms,excellent staffing,washer and dryer,elevator,next door to Meijer's, easy freeway access, easy check in/out with chinese delivery! Ha, since we don't live in utopia, if you are anywhere near Toledo and looking for any of the amenities mentioned..come on in the water is fine. This property raises the bar for the rest. Its very affordable, you wont be disappointed, this is not a hope and mystery hotel ( hope the reviews are wrong or no review at all) awesome stay! Thanks Sleep Inn, I'm in Florida now and I can't wait to come back!! « less
