We had an amazing stay at the Marriott Bloor Yorkville hotel. It has a great location for downtown fun.
Check in was easy and quick. We were upgraded to a suite (Thank you!). We bought the fuel your stay package. This allows you to park in their valet for free ($35 otherwise), breakfast for two and a $25 gas card (Petro-Canada). I highly recommend this package. It surely paid for itself.
Room was modern and clean. King bed is huge and comfy. Bathroom was small for a suite, but not a big deal. View from the sixth floor is not amazing, but we could see the city and Yonge St. Room did have a frige and Keurig coffee machine. Nice to know if you have one yourself and want to bring your favorite flavor. Not sure if the guest rooms have one. We did get turn down service, which is nice and makes your return to the room enjoyable.
We did not use the internet, but it would be nice if they offered free WIFI in the lobby. I think I am like most people and just want to see a few things, but not want to pay for the full day of internet.
Breakfast was a breeze. They have an omelette station, fresh fruit and juices. Overall, pretty good for a breakfast buffet at a downtown hotel. Again, our package deal took care of the breakfast.
Overall a great stay, loved the location and the friendly staff. Will stay here again!! « less

Dear s0ckit2me,
Thank you very much for your kind and gracious comments about our hotel and your recent stay with us. We are glad that you found the package rate valuable as that is the exact response we were hoping for when we put it together.
We actually do offer free wifi to hotel guests in the lobby where we have a work station with three desk top computers. Our apologies for not making you aware of that.
We look forward to welcoming you back.
Sincerely,

Unfortunately I stayed at the Marriott after staying at the Park Hyatt Toronto three weeks earlier. The location is fantastic...however...the rooms are clean, but just average. Overall the hotel is fine, just a step down from the Park Hyatt. The fitness room is nice and clean but ridiculously hot. I had a terrible view, so if I do return I will be sure to ask for a better view. « less

I stayed at this hotel for 4 nights while on a business trip. It is a standard Marriott with very friendly staff. While the rooms are clean and quite, they are a bit dated.
The location was perfect for me with access to my business meetings and loads of local shops and restaurants.
Parking and WiFi was very expensive. In fact while I like the hotel and have stayed here before, I have decided on my next trip in three weeks I am going to stay at a different hotel as I cannot justify the daily WiFi costs. « less
