The Omni Dallas Hotel, in the center of the revitalized downtown Dallas, is connected via sky bridge to the Dallas Convention Center and close to restaurants, shops, entertainment and more! Following our grand opening ribbon cutting ceremony with Larry Hagman and Linda Grey from the former Dallas television show, the hotel opened its doors showcasing richly appointed guest rooms, a contemporary reflective glass exterior and innovative guest amenities. Owned by the City of Dallas, the hotel features 1,001 guest rooms, including 67 luxury suites and three presidential suites. Omni Dallas Hotel is built to meet the U.S. Green Building Council LEED Silver Certification standards, placing it on the forefront of environmental awareness and conservation in the city.
The 110,000 square feet of meeting space is infused with the history and style of Dallas. Each of the 39 meeting rooms, including two ballrooms, are named after area points of interest in the city and feature the work of local artists. Dining at the hotel consists of Bob's Steak & Chop House, the innovative farm-to-market 3-meal-a-day restaurant Texas Spice, the Owner's Box that's a state-of the art interactive sports bar and Omni's gourmet coffee shop, Morsel's. Collections, the lobby gift shop, provides one-of-a-kind selection of local art and retailers for the convenience of guests. The hotel includes a full-service Mokara Spa, rooftop terrace pool deck and a spacious fitness center with stunning views of downtown.

Whenever I am in Dallas on business I always stay at this Hotel. It is conveniently located to the Companies I visit. The rooms are of the highest quality. The restaurant serves a wide choice menu and the food is well prepared and served quickly, even when the restaurant is full. I usually travel alone, now and then I take my Wife with me. There are lots of things for her to do over the day, until I return to the Hotel in the late afternoon. « less

Four for Mother's Day brunch which was in the restaurant. We were told several times that the restaurant had added more stations this year. There were 4 stations: salads/breakfast, fish and oysters (not sushi), lamb/ham, desserts. Most of the stations were quite far apart since they were in different sections of the restaurant. No plates in the "Fish and oysters (not sushi), lamb/ham section. Meat choices were odd: ham and lamb only? The fried chicken (for chicken and waffles) on the salad/breakfast station was really good though. All food, meat, fish, vegetables were cold, not even tepid. Scrambled eggs were not good. Don't how you can screw-up scrambled eggs when they're real eggs! Desserts were just OK but thought the idea of providing cold milk next to the chocolate chip cookies was a great idea. The chocolate pudding in the "mouse" type pie was either powdered and not mixed well or ???? Not worth the price. We won't return even for a regular meal. Wait staff was very nice. « less

Spent five nights here at a conference in May. Modern stylish hotel with attentive and knowledgeable staff. The pool was great although closed from time to time for special events. During the conference I had the opportunity to visit some of the other hotels in downtown Dallas and was glad that I chose the Omni having seen the others. A special mention to Megan who served us breakfast every morning with a welcoming smile. « less

Went down to the Omni for a little fun in the sun. Booked the romance package and checked in on Saturday. Called Saturday morning and our room was ready so we checked in about 1PM and headed to the pool on the 4th floor. Funtime at the pool, then got cleaned up for dinner at Bob's Chophouse. After dinner headed down to the Owners Box and cocktials out on the patio. The romance package came with room service and I also got a spa credit and paid a little extra for a 4PM late check out. Overall pretty cheap weekend. « less
