We stayed for two nights with the living social deal. It includes a credit towards a couples massage, bottle of wine, chocolates, and coupons to the local breweries and wineries. It includes the continental breakfast, not the fancy one, but on the second morning, I got to try the eggs Benedict because someone else didn't want them. They were absolutely delicious. The continental breakfast is satisfactory (croissants, fruit, yogurt, etc. the wife liked it a lot). We kept hearing how the dinners were amazing, but did not try. The room was very comfortable and spacious. Bed was cozy, and we slept perfectly, until we heard their parrot, which woke us up bright and early. The bed was so comfy we went back to sleep, but that bird was relentless. This was the only thing that bothered us a little. I am an animal lover, but being woken up by that bird was not fun. Some people may become bothered by the creaking floors, but it is an old house, so really we expected it. We stayed in the Kensington, and loved the jacuzzi. Nice views of the mountain, and even though it rained the whole time we were there, it was still a pretty sight. The TV is a bit small, but on the plus side we sat on the chairs in front of the fireplace/space heater and cozied up to a good movie on the second night. The service is top notch and super friendly. Jacob was awesome and treated us like their special guests. We definitely want to go back. This was our 10th wedding anniversary celebration and left the kids at home with the grandparents. Great way to get away from it all, enjoy some relaxing time with your loved one, have some wine and beer, and just enjoy the simple things. Oh, and they have wifi which was a pleasant surprise! « less

We thoroughly enjoyed our 2 night stay at the Mark Addy Inn in Nellysford, VA. It was a quick getaway for two frazzled parents who needed a night or two away from the kids to regroup. Innkeepers were very cordial and it was nice to have the choice of the fancy breakfast or a more leisurely & portable continental breakfast to take on the road with us. The bed in the Colonel's room was absolutely dreamy, and the rest of the house was historic and beautiful. We highly recommend this inn! « less

One of the most comfortable beds we have ever slept in! Stayed in the Elena and loved the sunrise porch and the spacious room. Was a little chilly (we visited in late March) but it is worth the trade for the great amount of windows! Seated breakfast was a treat if you aren't picky and the service is as friendly as you would like an innkeeper to be without being too intrusive. My wife and I stayed here for two nights and had little to complain about. The location is great: seated right in the heart of Virginia wine country. There are wineries and breweries within a few minutes and you can have a whole day of adventure at a pretty low cost. All in all a great stay! We found a great living social deal so it was less expensive. At full price the value may drop it to a 4 but overall we are certain you will enjoy it. « less

Our group of 6 stayed here for 2 nights while we toured all the breweries and winerys and the cider works. We had an excellent meal there the first night , that had 6 different entries prepared for the meal. The owners and staff are friendly. The Inn is nice and there are mountains all around. We had a great night sleep and a wonderful visit. We will return sometime soon and also visit all the breweries too. « less
