When we first arrived we were greeted by kind staff, the hotel lobby is clean and modern with a kind receptionist who is bilingual. When we got to our room it was clean with fresh linen and towels if I had to give one complaint about the room it would be a lack of a tea/ coffee making facility. The hotel is about a ten minute walk from the main church and grotto. The Hotel’s breakfast consisted of a croissant, bread roll, yogurt and cereal with coffee hot chocolate and orange juice to drink.
Overall I had a very pleasant stay in St. Louis de France and hope to return in the future. « less

Just returned from a week's stay at the St Louis de France. Been to Lourdes many times and stayed in different hotels but we found this to be an excellent find. Rooms are reasonably priced and clean.We found staff to be very friendly and Kathy the manager was a mine of information and very helpful. Food too we found to be very good never had the same thing twice. If there was something you didn't like something else was provided. Sometimes breakfast was a bit boring but there was fresh fruit on offer if you didn't want croissant or bread roll. Only moan was asked for a room with a shower but the shower was hand held and it was a nuisance trying to hold the shower and wash yourself at the same time! Hotel is in a good position for shops, attractions. Definitely recommend. « less

My husband and I stayed at this hotel for 5 nights along with another 24 people from our parish. I think everyone enjoyed staying at this hotel. All the staff were very friendly and helpful and the meals were excellent. We had a front view from our hotel window. The room was clean and had everything we needed. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone considering staying in Lourdes. It was also situated near the shops and the grotto was within easy walking distance. « less

just returned from a four day stay in this hotel and basically its rather disappointing from a food point of view considering the price we paid . Breakfast daily consisting of a rather tired croissant and breadroll with jam. One might expect some cheese and ham on offer and perhaps a banana but on display was some tinned fruit cocktail with fromaise fraise. While not expecting the traditional english fry up! a little imagination wouldnt go amiss. Neither lunch nor evening dinner was anything to get excited about and portions were small. Spoke also with some people who had young babies and kids in tow and they remarked that no provisions were there to cater for the needs and tastes of the children. Female staff seemed a bit scatty most of the time but full marks to the young male waiter who was prompt and courteous in his serving of the meals. Rooms were basic but clean. Better hotels in the vicinity from what i hear and at less cost too. « less

stayed in this hotel as a family with 2 kids under 10 in may....only one member of staff helpful and friendly in the dining room,the rest very rude and abrupt especially the female member of staff,although the female owner/manager was very friendly and helpful.Food not great at all sometimes the kids did not eat at all and only when the owner was about were the staff willing to cater for them!!!! Considering the amount that the trip cost this was most certainly not value for money...would not stay in this hotel again!!!Rooms were clean but very basic sometimes very bad smell coming from the sewers!!! « less
