We stayed there for a couple of days, the hotel offers a basic setup but it's clean and food is nice. Staff was very polite and solved a reservation problem we had with a restaurant. We were a little disappointed by the reviews but it turned out fine. We stayed there from 3rd to 5th may 2013. « less

We stayed as a group of 25 over night in the hotel for one night. Rooms on the first floor do not have bars in the windows. Because of lack of Ac we were adviced to leave the window open. In the night we had theft in 2 rooms with loss of cash, phone & camera. The hotel staff where noncooperative not believing over version. We informed the police who were also unhelpfull. If you are stuck in the hotel avoid 1 st floor. Kindly avoid this hotel. ....this is the 1 st time i am saying this about a hotel. « less

This is a perfectly sevicable hotel located on a main road, good bus links to town and Santa Maria Novella Station. So you can get to the local airport and within 2 bus journeys you are there. New the hotel are 2/3 good restaurants, 2 supermarkets and a chemist that does gluten free products also. Staff are friendly and helpful. I did not have a UK adapter and although I had to wait for another guest to return it, I was able to charge up my UK appliances.
There is a restaurant in the hotel and a bar and if you get breakfast in it is continental but I saw scrambled eggs being made also. « less

Hotel is located very close to Florence airport. It is bit older but quiet and friendly staff. Quality of breakfast for Italian rating good, for international substandart. Internet for free....

This hotel is definitely far from the 4 stars is rated!!! I stayed in January 2013. My single bedroom was so small that I could hardly stay in and open my suitcase at the same time. The bathroom didn't have a bathtub but a very tiny compartment that looked very much like a plane toilet! The staff at the restaurant was very unkind and always looked and sounded upset. There isn't such thing as a "Happy Bar" as advertised on the website. Fortunately the heating and hot water were fine... « less
