We stayed at the Vagabond Inn in Glendale last month. The location is fantastic (next to the huge "America Mall" - which has wonderful shops and restaurants). The rooms are comfortable and clean. The continental breakfast is just "eh", but it's slightly better than nothing. The pool is small (we didn't use it). It is consistently a good place to stay (stayed before with same experience). Katherine at the desk was great with local information. « less

I have stayed in hundreds of Hotels/Motels in my professional and private life. I have never experienced or even heard of a Hotel or motel, where you have no control of the air temperature in your room ??? I was hot and very uncomfortable. Everybody has different wants and even needs when it comes to the air temperature in their own rooms. At this place, it's decided for you. And I thought it was to warm. Which destroyed any sleep that I would of liked to have had. « less

Once again stayed at the vagabond inn and had a wonderful time in the Los Angeles area. Hotel is clean and staff very friendly. Thank you to all of the staff for providing both the service and presentation of all. I have stayed here since 1988 and would never choose anywhere else to stay and since that time , whenever possible we are provided with our favorite room. Glendale is a nice area to stay. Don't look anywhere else book this hotel you will be very happy ! « less

Okay, that's a little extreme, but after a miserable night at another motel in Glendale, the Vagabond was a real delight. Katherine at the front desk was especially helpful, and all the staff seemed genuinely eager to please. Fairly small rooms, but very clean and nicely appointed. Easy parking, close to shopping, good beds, flat screen tv, good wifi, reasonable price, etc. etc. What's not to like! « less

Just a block away from all the shopping you could ever want (or not) from Target to Chico's to a soon to be Nordstrum's, and it is convenient to all points in central LA, Hollywood and the Valley.
