Just had a fabulous 5 days at this hotel. Chose it because of the location of the swimming pool, its a panoramic pool on the roof and the view is incredible. One of the best experiences of my life. The room we had also had a brilliant view over Kitzbuhel and the room itself was beautiful, very comfortable bed, lovely big towels and a very modern bathroom. The food was delicious, and be prepared to put weight on after huge breakfasts and 5 course dinners! Of course you can walk to the town but the hotel also provides a free shuttle bus on the hour. The service is first class. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Thankyou for making my stay so memorable. « less

We stayed here for one night on the 6th of April. After our disappointing end to our hotel stay in Salzburg (see separate review), we were hoping for a better experience in Kitzbuhel and we were not disappointed.
The hotel is on a hill overlooking Kitzbuhel. Check-in was prompt and efficient. The room was beautifully appointed, very comfortable and spacious, with a balcony facing onto the adjacent forest (as the weather was quite cold, we did not use the balcony). The bathroom was of a similar standard. There was a great variety on offer for breakfast and the food was excellent. We did not have dinner in the hotel but enjoyed the complimentary drink given to us at reception in the piano bar.
The jewel in the crown of this hotel is the swimming pool and leisure centre. The pool is about 20/25m in length which is quite long for a hotel pool. There is a fantastic view over the valley below, as the pool is on the top floor. There are various saunas and steam rooms in the naked area, and the pool itself is great if you want to swim lengths.
The hotel have a regular shuttle bus into Kitzbuhel, we had a hire car so did not avail of this. I would have no hesitation in recommending this hotel to anyone. « less

During our one-week stay, the weather was unusually cold (second week of April), but fortunately the hotel's facilities and excellent offered services have overcome that. The room had a brilliant view over the town, from a large balcony. The panorama over the valley, as seen from the Panorama Swimming Pool located at the top floor, leaves you literally at a loss for words. Hotel's personnel are very friendly and multilingual. Food is in abundance and of a large variety. There is a free shuttle service that runs from the hotel to town and back approximately every 20 mins (depending on the demand) which was extremely useful, especially when raining. We would recommend it to anyone. We were very pleased with everything that we experienced at Hotel Schloss Lebenberg and we are willing to return here for our next holiday in Austria. Excellent from the moment you arrive. Staff are friendly and accommodating, many having worked for a very long time. You are made to feel as though you are the only guest with prompt and courteous service.
Rooms very pleasant; large, well furnished, very private and comfortable.
I would endorse everything said by the 5 star reviewers, especially "take the meal upgrade option". Cuisine, wines and restaurant staff superb which makes the cost terrific value.
The only small criticism is that they need an extra minibus or two to avoid waits in town at the need of a skiing day. We often took taxis instead at €8 per trip. Not the end of the world and easily remedied. « less

The hotel is located on a hill over the city, so you need to use the ski bus. Otherwise the hotel is very nice, the rooms are tastefully furnished, the restaurant excellent cook and I prefer about spa with swimming pool, which looks out over the whole city. Just a beautiful panoramic view is from the sauna. This hotel honestly recommend. « less
