My aunt and I stayed there recently for a weekend to visit family. The carpeting was recently replaced. The room sizes are good, the service fantastic. The continental breakfast was enough to keep you going past lunch if you so desired. The staff were friendly and helpful.
I would definitely stay at this hotel again. « less

Average best describes my recent stay. The location of the Comfort Inn is ok, near the freeway and within reasonable distance to several restaraunts. The front desk person was less than professional. He was doing something on the computer and left me standing in front of him for several minutes before acknowledging my presence and wasn't very polite during the check in process. The room was acceptably clean, but the decor was dated. The bed was comfortable, however, there is no sound proofing whatsoever at this hotel. People talking in the hall sound like they are in the room with you. The one bright spot was the hot breakfast. There was a good selection of food, (including eggs, bacon and sausage) and everything was well stocked. It doesn't look like there are many places to stay in Bellefontaine. If you must stay in Bellefontaine you may have to set expectations a little lower. « less

From the time I booked our room over the phone, I was already annoyed at the level of unprofessionalism. The man actually said, "we know we're gonna be busy that wknd, so don't even ask to check in early". Really? I don't need to hear that! Besides, you could beef up your staff if you think you might have issues w/getting the rooms cleaned by 3? Also, our credit card that we used to reserve the room, was charged even though we paid cash upon check out. The outside of the building, pool area, and lobby are deceitfully well maintained - the hallways were old and gross and the rooms, just average. « less

Motel choices in Bellefontaine are limited to three and based on discussion with front desk staff, this lodging is usually full on summer weekends - suggest making reservations. We chose this motel for our wedding guests and family. Our rooms were clean and quiet - never heard doors slam or discussion from adjoining rooms, but infrequently heard people walk down the hallway. Cigarette odor is very noticeable in the hallways. The usual Comfort Inn breakfast buffet is offered - the breakfast area is small. First time I've seen a bar within a Comfort Inn. It was busy both Friday and Saturday nights with karaoke. Doors between reception/bar area and rooms require a room key after a certain hour.
Several from our party commented that a particular front desk person was rude. I dealt with the front desk staff numerous times prior to our stay and during our two day stay and only have good comments. Natasha was patient and very helpful when I changed billing for several rooms.
