The Ocean Pavilion is the perfect setting for weddings of a larger scale. This 7,000 square foot covered pavilion overlooks the sandy beaches of Hilton Head and the beautiful Atlantic Ocean. The Ocean Pavilion is a highly flexible venue to house your event while incorporating the pristine beauty of the South Carolina coastline.
The Ocean Pavilion is available for your wedding function at a rental charge of $1,500.00 - $5,000.00. The rental fee fluctuates based on the specifics of each Wedding. This charge includes tables, draping, and set up. All Food and Beverage charges are in addition to the rental charge and are not quoted in the rental price. The Ocean Pavilion cannot be guaranteed for your function until six months prior to arrival.
The Grand Ballroom of the Sonesta Resort meshes the elegance of a world class resort with an elegantly appointed nautical theme. The Ballroom offers beautiful function space which can be adjusted according to size through the use of air wall partitions.
The Grand Ballroom is available for your function at a rental charge of $625.00 per section. Each Section is approximately 775 square feet. This charge includes tables, drapings and set up. All Food and Beverage charges are in addition to the rental charge and are not quoted in the rental price.

We arrived to Hilton Head and were not happy with our accommodations at a VRBO. My husband and I wandered around the island and visited several resorts and when we walked into Sonesta, we knew we had found the place to spend our special anniversary celebration. The resort has great staff- Lisa, Anca, Fran and many others who made our stay wonderful. Also, the Arum Spa is a fabulous, both Christie, Massage Therapist and Jill, Facial Expert, were great. I highly recommend both the resort and the spa! Visit soon, you will be pleased. « less

My stay started out great! The new Deco was awesome and the color scheme is fabulous. I thought I had pick a winner but after a day two we started seeing bugs by the couch but let it go until I woke up with one right in my bed crawling toward my face. I screamed and jumped up .....in a daze. I killed the bug and called the someone who transferred me to the front desk. I was given another room immediately but I was out of my comfort zone now; I kept looking for bugs. I could not stop. The staff continue to apologize and even comp our dinner at the Heyward; which was great, thanks again Calvin.
When checking out I was greeted by Lisa L. Front desk manager who had apologize for our inconvenience and offer to comp our resort fee.
Lastly, the resort is nice and I had an OKAY time; I just could not get the bugs out of my head (4047 room #) but you must check it out for yourself. « less

The new change in Sonesta Resort is wonderful. The hotel has an all new look and you will love it. The beds are so good for sleep and lights come on under the bedside tables when you get up in the night. The pool is heated and they have live music on the weekends in several locations around the hotel. The kids program is great for them to do a lot of things. All the people that work here do a great job with the guests. They have added a Spa too. I want to thank Sarah, Anca, David, Lisa, Adrenna, Bunny, Marsha, Debra, Yvette, Karen and Jay. It was a wonderful stay. Please try this 5 star hotel.
