The Ritz-Carlton is San Francisco's only Mobil Five Star, AAA Five Diamond Hotel, Michelin's highest rated hotel in San Francisco (2007), and Zagat's highest rated hotel in San Francisco (2007). There are 336 newly renovated guest rooms and suites with views of city skyline, cable cars and the hotel's landscaped Courtyard. Elegant dining is offered in The Dining Room -- one of only two Mobil Five-Star restaurants in California and one of only 16 in the nation for 2007. Alfresco dining can be enjoyed in the beautifully landscaped Terrace Courtyard. A state-of-the-art Fitness Center with indoor pool, whirlpool and ladies and gentlemen's steam rooms is on-site with a spa that offers select spa treatments and services. There are Egyptian cotton sheets, down comforters and feather beds in each guest room The hotel is located 25 minutes from San Francisco International Airport and 35 minutes from Oakland International Airport, in the heart of Nob Hill, one of San Francisco's most prestigious neighborhoods. Only steps away from Union Square shopping, Fisherman's Wharf and the Financial District, right across the street from the California Street Cable Car line, the hotel is situated as the center of all attractions. Ballroom Space was renovated in 2004. There are both outdoor and indoor options for meetings.
