They staff here was great. We made the reservations on-line only about an hour before our arrival and they were ready when we arrived. They new my gold member status and special requests. The complimentary breakfast was good and the staff accomodating. The location off I4 is convenient and the lobby is inviting. The common areas were clean and so was the pool. Fitness center was better than most. We've stayed in other Homewood suites and this suite was smaller than typical and the room a bit outdated. Other than the rooms being a bit dated it was overall a good stay. « less

This is my 2nd time in this hotel. I liked it the last time with the exception of the loud AC unit in the 2 rooms I had over a 2 weeks stay. Last night was my first night of a 5 night stay for business. That AC unit was not loud. It was normal. I was happy. But, at midnight when I went to walk into the bedroom to go to bed, it smelled like someone was smoking in my room. It was that bad. I called the front desk to be switched. I was not happy to be moving at midnight. In addition, the AC unit in my new room is too loud when it switches on and off. It woke me up 3 times last night. I'll try one more night.
I'm on my 2nd night. I'm sitting at the desk doing some work on my laptop when I started smelling smoke. Walked into the bedroom. It smells like cigarette smoke again! It seems to be coming from the vent in the bathroom. What is wrong with this place that the ventilation sucks this bad? Why would I smell smoke from a room above me? I turned on the vent in the bathroom hoping that it helps. If it doesn't, I'm moving hotels. There's a Hilton Garden Inn right next door. The guy at the front desk said he just moved someone from 410 to a lower floor for the same issue. This is ridiculous. « less
