I visited this place a few months ago and was not much satisfied with this hotel. Although location near the central station made it my choice, but other things were below expectations. Rooms were not too big and even balcony was also small. All the things needed for a comfortable stay were present. But, services of the staff were not satisfactory. Breakfast was not included in the stay, I had to pay for it and it was expensive. I had planned a 3 days stay at this hotel and I cut it short to 1 day. « less

I went to Warsaw on a whim recently for 3 nights (4-6 April 2013). Chose this hotel because of mid price - best hotels were £300 for 3 nights, could easily stay eg at an Ibis for £100 - this was somewhere in between at £200 for 3 nights including breakfast, executive single room. I was very pleased, the location is very central, not far from the central station and the Palace of Culture. I walked to the old town one day and the Lazenki park the other. Near the hotel there are loads of modern shops incl M&S, TX Max etc, and by the railway station a big modern shopping centre (with foodhall - lots of interesting food options), so in general I felt very safe in what is a busy, modern city. The room was lovely with a walk in shower, and a very easy to use safe which was very useful. Also a good telly, kettle etc, hairdryer. Felt very safe and comfortable. I got a nice welcome on arrival from english speaking staff and very much enjoyed the breakfasts - a busy, medium sized restaurant with all the usual hot and cold breakfast food, more than adequate. I did eat in the hotel one evening, a nice piece of polish pork with salad, it was a relaxed, quiet atmosphere and the service was good. This isn't a particularly posh or remarkable hotel, but perfectly adequate and comfortable. And I notice that the location is at the very junction that is considered to be the centre of Warsaw, eg if you look at Google maps. Would definitely recommend as an adequate, comfortable hotel for business or pleasure - unless you're looking for a more exclusive atmosphere, or a more interesting modern building. Tip - I was advised to get a 175 bus from the airport which stopped nearby - you need 5 zl to pay the driver in cash. Tip - you don't need to worry about public toilets in Warsaw, there are loads particularly in the shopping centre and the subway tunnels around the station and near the hotel. Very impressive, I wish London was like that! Tip - In the subway tunnels there are lots of little cafes and bakeries, you must try some of the sugared Polish donuts they sell everywhere. « less
