I have stayed here before but this is my first review. Although not in the "heart" of all the action, this location is only a couple of blocks away from everything and even close to Coors Field if your going to a Rockies game. I have found this Hampton Inn exceptionally clean and in very condition, professional and friendly staff, great breakfast and Internet.....a very good hotel that has everything you need whether visiting for business or pleasure. « less

I stayed at the Hampton Inn during a recent conference in Denver. What I did not realize when booking was there were two Hamptons, one about 4 blocks from the Convention Center downtown, and this one, which is about a mile away, labeled the "Hampton Uptown" on Sherman Street. Although this was May, on one day, it snowed rather heavily all day long, so the mile walk to return to the hotel was more than I had expected. However, the hotel was quite nice. It obviously is recently remodeled with everything (except the fitness center) quite up to date and modern / fresh. The fitness center was closed for remodeling, but they had made arrangements with the YMCA for free usage of their facilities, which was a large very nice place. I only used the fitness equipment, but there must have been 50 treadmills. The usual Hampton has 2. However, I had to bundle up for the walk, and then the trip back to the hotel , now a bit sweaty and then chilly outside, was brisk. « less

Thank you for sharing your feedback from your stay with us this month! I apologize that you were inconvenienced by the fitness center remodel during your stay. The remodel took a bit longer than anticipated but we wanted to make sure everything was perfect before reopening. You'll be pleased to know that we have added in another treadmill along with a lot of different weight options to give guests more choices for their workout. The crazy weather patterns that we experienced did not make this as seamless of a process to use our offsite fitness alternative as we would have liked at all and I'm sorry that you had issues with that as well. We are located in downtown but just a couple of blocks from the main city center to allow you easy access while still giving you a bit of peace and quiet.
We hope overall you enjoyed your stay here. We hope that you will come back to see us again if your travels bring you back to Denver. Thank you for choosing Hampton Inn & Suites!

Fair location, good staff, good breakfast, bad shower. Clean sheets, room and service. The fitness center was not working and I had to go to the Y which was three blocks away. The snow and weather was poor which made going to the Y early in the morning a poor experience especially since I only had shorts and a T shirt. « less

Thank you for sharing your experience with us at Hampton Inn & Suites. I am sorry to hear that you had an issue with the shower. We have installed low-flow shower heads as part of our energy conservation program and sometimes our guests do not realize that we have them. I am also sorry that you experienced some inconvenience with the fitness center being under renovation. This was the last step in our full remodel and it took longer than we initially anticipated to complete. To top it off, mother nature did not send us the spring-time weather that we are accustomed to so I am sorry that you had a snowy, cold trip back and forth from the YMCA. We have completed all the fitness center remodel and we hope you'll come back to visit us to try out our updated equipment!

I stayed here while in town for a conference and really liked the hotel. The room was spacious and quiet, the beds were comfortable, and the breakfast was great. The front desk staff were very friendly as well. The only negatives were low water pressure in the shower and a slow Internet connection. Other than that, I would definitely stay here again. « less

I am sorry to hear that you experienced low water pressure during your stay. I have passed this information on to our operations team so we can ensure that we don't have any issues that we are unaware of with our plumbing. I am also sorry to hear that your internet connection speed was not to your satisfaction. Please know that if you stay at any of our Hilton properties, we have a 24 hour dedicated support line through AT&T that can assist in resolving any issues with connectivity or speed that you may experience. For future reference, we are also upgrading our bandwidth next week to give our hotel more speed overall for guests. We do have plenty of bandwidth now but want to make sure we can assist our business and leisure guests with the highest speed available to them during their time here.
