This hotel is beautiful. The location is wonderful, with a short walk to both Millennium Park and the Magnificent Mile. Also right on the lake very near the Navy Pier. The rooms are spacious, clean and well appointed. Beds are extremely comfortable. The elevators are fairly efficient with the key card required in the lobby to select your floor. Although I haven't been at the hotel at a high time (ie summer) the elevator situation would hopefully allow for guests to be able to get to their rooms or the lobby without waiting forever for a packed elevator to arrive. It may not be the a low cost option, but you really can't beat the location for a stay in downtown Chicago. « less

My husband and I stayed here on a mid-week getaway! We did book through a third party and got a great rate, and an a free upgrade for a lake view room! They did give us a room by the elevators and one was very squeaky, but the room made up for it. The bed was insanely comfortable, the shower was amazing, and the view was incredible!!!! At night we could see the pier in all its glory, and the sunrise over the pier was amazingly beautiful. The only downside is, the do charge for everything, WiFi, use of the pool, and room service is CRAZY expensive (where isn't it though). Over all a great trip!!! « less

Arrived by driver from Airport on Thursday, 5/2/13 and they had no reservation in my name. Trip was prepaid through Jet Blue Getaways! Called JetBlue and there was no mistake on their end, so off we go to the game. My husband and son had shorts on and sweatshirts. It was windy and chilly and they were unable to change in our room, because we had not been able to check in! So went to the Cub's game... Get back to the hotel and our bags were still being held and they found our reservation and we went to the room. It only had 1 king bed, so we had to call down and get the room with 2 beds instead. It was my family of 4. They finally got it right, and offered us 4 free drink tickets, and use of the gym for our trouble! Wish the beds were queens! Onsite restaurant too expensive! Next time will stay where there are bigger beds, and for go the suite style room. Great location! Wildberry's for Breakfast! « less

SO I was at a meeting recently held at this hotel. It really is a nice hotel. Nice view, really nice staff, great location, but other than that it just wasn't that special for the price. Everything was just really overpriced. The cocktails were good, but again, overpriced. I bought some advil at their little kiosk and the little travel tube was more than 7 dollars. Now I know its going to be pricier, but still, 7 buck is ridiculous.
But like I said, nice staff, very clean, but that is really it for me. « less

Testimonials: Why use Hotel Planner?
"This website has been an absolute life saver for us! The huge medical convention at McCormick Place had many, many rooms booked or blocked, and my mother and I had called dozens of hotels and been told there was no way we could do wedding blocks!" L.M. - Chicago, IL
"I had already contacted Marriott prior to finding your site, but you got us a deal $24 cheaper per night than Marriott was willing to offer! Also, since the rooms are blocked for our wedding, the website with our own URL was perfect. This was the most convenient and easy to use service I have encountered since starting to plan the wedding. I had the whole room blocking process done in 48 hours, it saved a lot of time and money. Thanks!" C.T. - Richmond, BC
