The resort has made some beautiful upgrades since my last visit. The outside dining area and lounging areas on the lawn and surrounding pool are aesthetically pleasing. Attendant came to room to load our bags and take downstairs and loaded my vehicle while being very engaging and friendly. Staff at front desk were quick to check us in and out with a very friendly and professional demeanor. Front desk staff person offered valet parking upon our arrival and returning from an outing. All staff sensitive to the fact that I needed assistance because of walking with a cane. Our room was clean and updated. Everything about the facility and staff was excellent. I would refer the Blockade Runner Beach Resort to all my friends.

We are located on Wrightsville Beach, just over the bridge from Wilmington, North Carolina. You have the beach right on your back deck and the city of Wilmington, with all its charm, just minutes away. All of our rooms and meeting spaces have been renovated as recently as 2009!
