Property Description
Hotel Koster AB is located on the beautiful offshore island South Koster (Sydkoster). It lies just outside the town of Strömstad, in the middle of Kosterhavets Marine National Park. To access us you need to take the ferry from Strömstad. We have seventy-eight nice rooms (onehundred fiftysix beds) in different categories. We can, upon confirmed request, supply more beds in the offseason months for larger groups. 24 of the rooms are suites with panoramic view over the water of amazing the Kosterfjord . We have a total of 8 six bed apartments suitable for familes. We have done extensive renovation during the Winter of twothousand thirtyteen, ie in our standard doubleroooms with balconies, in our suites, in our conference facilities and in our main dining rom. We have three newly renovated Conference roooms to a total of 140 squaremeters, and we can also accommodate larger groups upon special individual requests. The Island is car free and bicycle is the common choice of transportation. During the summer the island is boiling with activities; for exemple boat tours to the seal colonies or fishing tour for mackerell and crabs. We have an amazing outdoor dining terrace which accomodates approximately fivehundred people. The spectacular terrace overlooks the Kosterfjord and the view is worldclass. Our kitchen always try to use the best possible regional produce from the surrounding ocean´s clear waters and from local producers on the mainland.
